CHAPTER 42

Dushyant came to Kavin's house. Priya stayed along with the kids as it was Sunday. Kavin and Dushyant left to search for Purvi. They didn't tell anyone about Purvi's disappearance as they didn't want their team to be worried.

Kavin somehow found her location and he went there along with Dushyant. Kavin looked at Dushyant.

'Dushyant, tum yahi ruko, mai andar jaake dekhta hu, agar kuch bhi gadbad hua toh mai tumhe emergency ka signal bhejunga..' Kavin said while Dushyant looked at him and nodded his head informing Kavin that he understood.

Kavin went inside. He searched for her and was shocked to see the surroundings where she was. She was lying on the floor unconscious and there were a lot of injections and medicines around her. He patted her cheek, poured water on her face but she didn't wake up. He lifted her up and took her to the hospital along with Dushyant.

The doctor checked on her and said that she was overdosed with injections and added that she might lose her memory permanently, both the men were in shock. Dushyant kept his hand on Kavin's shoulder. He know how Kavin must be feeling guilty of not knowing what Purvi was going through all these years despite being her husband.

'Kavin, Purvi ka yaadash jaana ek tarah se achcha hi hai, she will forget everything she has gone through.. Aur with time vo dheere dheere tumhe accept kar legi as her husband.. Hum CID team ko yeh bata denge ki medicine ki wajah se Purvi apna memory kho chuki hai..'

'Mai us baat se pareshaan nahi hu Dushyant.. Ek Purvi hi hai jo bata sakti thi ki aunty ki yaadash kaise gayi aur vo Rohan uncle, unhe un sab baaton ke baare mei kaise jaante hai.. Dush, kahi na kahi mujhe abhi bhi lagta hai ki Purvi ne mujhse ek aur baat chupaya hai.. Aur mai bas is baat ko leke tensed hu ki mai Mahi (Kavi's daughter) ko kya jawaab du ?'

Purvi got her senses back and she looked at Kavin. Dushyant signalled Kavin informing him that Purvi is awake. Kavin held her hand and asked how she is feeling. She kept looking at him without any answer. Kavin looked at Dushyant.

'Mai doctor ko bulake le aata hu..' Dushyant said and left. He came back after sometime only to see the room empty.

'Yeh Kavin aur Purvi kaha chale gaye ?' Dushyant called Kavin.

'Dushyant, mai tumhe baad mei call karta hu, Purvi aur mai bilkul safe hai, tum fikar mat karo..' Kavin cuts the call.

'Purvi hum is factory mei kyu aaye hai ? ACP sir ne bataya ki bachpan mei tum is factory se mili unhe.. Tum yeh batana chahti ho ki aunty ki yaadash jaane ke peeche...' Kavin said and Purvi held his hands and took it near her neck and she made him choke her.

'Purvi yeh kya kar rahi ho..?' Kavin used all his strength and released his grip around her neck, held her from her shoulder and asked, 'kyu kar rahi ho yeh sab..?' Purvi was at the verge of crying, he hugged her caressing her hair.

Purvi held her head and she fell unconscious. Kavin patted her cheek, kept her down, went to the car and brought water bottle and sprinkled water on her face. She woke up, but her eyes were different, her tone was also a bit different.

'Jaan are you okay..?' Kavin looked at her still worried. She scoffs and smiles at him. She got up and pointed a gun at him. He was shocked.

'Mai vo Purvi nahi hu jo tum mujhe samajh rahe ho.. All thanks to those medicines, Purvi stress handle nahi kar paayi aur usne mujhe create kiya.. Ek criminal version ko.. She smirked and said, mai hi thi jisne us din Karan ko maarne ki koshish kiya jaante ho kyu..?'

'Kyun..?' Kavin asked, he wanted to make sure she is distracted and he can get a chance to take the gun away from her.

'Kyunki vo Karan tha hi nahi aur usne mujhse jhoot kaha.. Aur us din... Us din Dhruv ko maine kiss kiya..' She smiled. It made Kavin angry but he controlled his anger.

'Jaan na nahi chahte Purvi apna yaadash mitana kyu chahti hai..? Kyunki vo thak chuki hai.. Uske apne us se kaafi dur hai.. She can't express her pain to anyone.. Vo sab mere baare mei bata ke auron ko pareshaan nahi karna chahti hai.. All she wants is to destroy herself taaki yeh medicines ka asar khatam ho jaaye.. But mere rehte mai use marne nahi dungi Kavin.. Maroge tum...' She triggered the gun.

'Mai nahi maanta.. Mai maanta hu ki mai tumse dur raha jaan.. Magar... Magar hamesha tumhare saath tha.. Yakeen nahi hai toh un sab moments ko yaad karo, tumhe khud pata chal jaayega ki mai tumse kitna pyaar karta hu.. Tumhare paas khud ko destroy karne ki kitni wajah hai mujhe nahi pata, lekin tumhe apne yaadash ke saath rehna padega Mahi ke liye.. Tum bhul gayi jaan ki tumhara sabse bada strength tumhara pyaar hai, hamari beti Mahi bhi hai.. I believe you.. Tum is criminal version pe jeet haasil karogi.. I believe in you.. I love you Purvi...'

Purvi heard everything and recalled each and every moment from her life. She understood how much Kavin loves her and she recalled few things from the fire accident too. Avinash kidnapped her when she was child along with Kavin (for experimental purpose). When a fire broke down, Kavin rescued her, however she forget his name. Now, she recalls her FIRST EVER LOVE who is none other than KAVIN himself.

She loosened the grip on the gun and it fell down. Kavin held her, she was in pain, she is trying to fight against herself. Kavin hugged her tightly, trying to believe that she can fight, she has that will. She went unconscious. Kavin patted her cheek trying to wake her up. He took her to the hospital.

Hours passed, days passed, months passed too, but she didn't open her eyes. Kavin held her hand still trying to believe that she is fighting in that phase too. Raj got healed and everyone in the team got to know about Sunita being alive. Pradyuman and Raj got to know it and before they can go to find her, she came there herself.

They met, hugged, cried out their hearts. Sunita asked about Purvi. Pradyuman and others were quiet. Sunita went to Purvi's room. Kavin was sleeping (sitting position). Sunita barely can hold her tears.
