A/n once again I'm really so sorry this story's taking such a random turn :( butttttttttttt,
I made thos chapter so much earlier then i planned >:D be proud 🇺🇸🦅🔫
ALSO IM GIVING SUNNY MISOPHONIA IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS LOOK IT UP! Oo also ill ramble about mine for the rest of this lil a/n so if you dont wanna hear me like low key vent just skip >:3 so pretty much, whenever i hear these sounds, my family talking/yelling/whispering, knuckles cracking, chewing, drinking, squeaking, the sound of like water flowing but when its like loud, like a filter on a fish tank, certain materials rubbing together, really deep male voices, all of these causes the following responses, crying, screaming, yelling, panic attacks, mental breakdowns, anxiety attacks, and violence :) (throwing kicking screaming pushing etc) every single one of these reactions is out of my control, and yes, this includes at school, its gotten so bad even the thought or motion of any of these actions can cause these, or, even puking, ive been on a phycologist wait list for around a year, why am i saying all this? Because im not the only one who this happens to, if you know or meet someone who has something similar, please give some grace <3 their trying their damn best.

Sunny pov:

My closer we get to the doors, the shallower my breath gets, kel notices and flashes me a big smile,
"It's gonna be okay, i promise. And if you really cant do this we can go home and try again tomorrow, with a little more preparation." Kels reassurance calms me a bit, but not enough to stop the tears forming in my eyes.
Kel grabs my hand and pulls me along to out stretch class, but hes gentle about it, more leading me then pulling.
He shows me to out stretch teachers room, who just so happens to be our ela teacher.
Once the teacher starts to take attendance, and she calls my name, one that's entirely unfamiliar to the others, all eyes end up on me. The new kid. I freeze up, only being able to barley raise my hand past the top of my chest.
Kel looks at me and gives me a nod, that tells me good job and smiles at me.

"Okay, we do have a new student, please be nice."
Soon enough the eyes are on me again, shit.
Just before one of the kids starts to speak, the teacher interrupts them.
"We have a lesson today, but i have to come up with dnd scenarios, so yall can do whatever."
(Inspired by my ela teacher😍😍😍😍 she slays so hard omg)
Once she stops chatter emerges, some coming up to her and asking if they can join her campaign (its a club) others still looking at me.
"Welp, this gives us 30 minutes to talk! Anything you wanna do sunny?" I shake my hesd and kel puts his hand in his chin, as if hes deep in thought.
"Aha! You like to read right? Theres a bookshelf over there! I bet we can find something youll like! And maybe a picture book for me!" Kel offers excitedly, i nod and follow him as he shows me he book shelf, he does little jazz hands as he points to it.
"I dont really know anything about books, so uhm, i cant really help find one." Kel scratches his head, a seemingly guilty smile for something he shouldnt even feel bad about.

I run my fingers along the spines of the books, looking to find something intriguing, a pretty cover, fun title, a bestseller. In the end i dont find anything id like, but i do find a space playboy volume, something i know kel would love.
I show him and his face lights up as he grabs it, he flashes his eyes between me and the book over and over again, until he finally speaks,
(GET READY FOR SECOND HAND EMBARRASSMENT AGH WRITING ROMANCE IS SO HARD WTF)
"You know me so well sunshine!" My face flushes red at the sudden nickname, and it seems to take a few seconds before kel notices, when he turns bright red and covers his mouth, its clear he just realized what he did.
"OH UHM! That kinda slipped out sorry! Ive just been thinking thats a cute nickname and and and-" i chuckle as kel frantically tries to explain himself, its cute.

A/n WOAH! ITS ANOTHER SHORT CHAPTER! :00 also tell me if u want me to just drop this whole school thing lol its prob really boring :') dont be afraid to be brutally honest lmao
