The author used 蔷薇 (qiangwei) and 玫瑰 (meigui) to describe Chigiri and Kaiser's scent respectively. The problem is that both of these words directly translate to just "rose" in english, even though in chinese they are used to differentiate the species of a rose. So, 蔷薇 is the rosa multiflora, while 玫瑰 is the rosa rugosa. After further (and I hope correct) research, the Japanese names for these are Eijitsu rose and Hamanasu (浜茄子) respectively for 蔷薇 (Chigiri) and 玫瑰 (Kaiser).

The news that Isagi Yoichi was playing around with several alphas and blatantly comparing them quickly spread throughout the German building. It was said that Isagi was first with Mikage Reo, but because the young master could not give him passion, he decisively abandoned Reo and turned to the embrace of Nagi Seishiro.
