Bachira Meguru hears it just when he's feeling left out.

The eccentric dribbler is no stranger to finding what he wants, and going after what he wants. When he first enters the Blue Lock facility, he immediately feels a connection to the striker named Isagi Yoichi. The monster inside of him screams at him to pass to Isagi, and that first pass, in Bachira's opinion, was the first among many to solidify his bond with his best friend.

He knows this to be fact - his bond with Isagi that is - and it reinforces itself in him when he remembers his mother smiling at him and saying "I've never seen you have so much fun playing football with anyone. I'm glad you made such a wonderful friend, Meguru." when they were given those few days off before the start of the Neo Egoist League. Bachira, so used to being alone, finally has someone to walk alongside him.

He likes to think that he knows just about any other thing there is to know concerning Isagi Yoichi. After all - not counting Isagi's surprises on the field - every other Isagi related trivia seemingly just falls into Bachira's hands like free information. He attributes the success of gaining this plethora of information to his own observant nature.

Basically, when Isagi does things, it's automatically hotwired into Bachira's system to notice. So the moment he enters the dining hall that night and looks at the Blue Lock members of Manshine City, and then at Isagi himself, he just knows that something is different.

"I.sa.gi!" He latches himself tighter to Isagi's back, accentuating each syllable of his name. The other striker laughs at his antics and tries, but fails, to get away from his hold.

"Bachira, stop!" Isagi says with a good natured laugh.

"Don't wanna." He replies, laughing alongside his friend. "Why didn't you guys tell me you were arriving early? I could have left the Barcha dorms early too!"

"Ah well, it wasn't exactly intentional you know!" Isagi tells him. The striker then points to the others and says, "They got here early and just happened to catch me here."

"Eeeeh? And you guys all just sat here waiting for everyone else?" Bachira pouts, but his eyes never stop to observe. "Chigiri, you could have called me too! I thought we were friends? Have we been replaced with Nagi and Reo now?" he says jokingly, but then he immediately catches sight of the slight twist in Chigiri's body language as the speedster twirls a lock of hair between his fingers.

Eh?

"Ah, it isn't like that Bachira. We just kind of got lost in what we were doing, that's all." (and what were you doing, exactly?) Chigiri's nervous, Bachira can tell. And he's lying. But why? This is enough to turn Bachira's attention to the other two members of Manshine.

Reo doesn't bother to give him any other greeting besides a small wave. And the purple haired striker keeps looking at Isagi, then looking away. And Nagi. Nagi doesn't even try to hide how fond he looks at Isagi when said striker begins to turn away from them and greet other people in the room. Bachira lets go of Isagi in favor of allowing him to actually mingle with everyone else. Because something happened while these three were alone with his best friend, and he wants to find out what.

Once Isagi walks some distance away, and then gets dragged into conversations with Aiku and Aryu, Bachira returns his eagle-eye attention towards the three strikers from Manshine City. "Hey, did something happen with Isagi?" Bachira never did like beating around the bush.
