At the Battle Field...

There were a lot more Trainers than usual.

'Is this because the ones at the Pokemon Center finally got their Pokemon healed up? There are barely any Spaces left.'

"Souta!"

Turning my head, I spot Bane in the distance, waving towards me.

Walking over, I wave back at him.

"Bane. How are you holding up?" I asked him.

"Still a little sore, but it's mostly gone. How about you? You had the Hardest Job out of all of us." He said.

"Believe it or not, I actually feel a lot better compared to this morning. ...Er, Noon."

"Haha! Yeah. The Hotel's Food actually has a few Medicinal Herbs mixed in every Serving, so it's easy to assume that you would recover quickly."

'The Hotel Foods had Medicinal Herbs!? ...That would explain the Price. ...I've seriously gotta do research on the places I stay at.'

"Are those your Pokemon?" He asked, looking at Arc, who was on my head, and Lock, who stood beside me admiring the surrounding Battles.

"One of them is. The one down here is just a friend I made earlier, so don't mind them." I said.

"Alright. ...Hey, while we're here, how about a Pokemon Battle?" Bane asked.

'...DON'T YOU HAVE A BRAVIARY!?'

"A-A Battle with your Braviary might be a bit much..." I said nervously.

"You don't gotta worry about that. Braviary is actually a sort of Bodyguard slash Partner that my Dad gave me in case of Emergencies. My Actual Team is a lot weaker in Comparison. I'm only 8th Rank right now. You got to 9th yesterday, didn't you?"

"Rank 9... I completely forgot there were Ranks." I took out and placed the Button on my Shirt.

"Well? How about it?" Bane asked again.

"...I don't see why not. Just don't get angry when I get to Rank 8 after this." I agreed.

"Ha! I like the Confidence! We'll have to see during our Battle whether or not you can actually go through with it!"

Looking around, we managed to find an Empty Field.

Standing on opposite sides of the Field, we ready ourselves.

"Arc, make sure to stay a Goomy as best you can. As for you, Lock, you can watch from wherever you'd like." I told them.

"Hmm... I think the best spot would be next to the Ref, wouldn't it?" Lock said.

"I mean, they have to see Both Sides of the Battle, so probably."

"Then, I'll head over there."

I notified the Referee, and he agreed to it. Finally, clearing his throat...

"Alright. This is a Battle between Bane, Rank 8, and Souta, Rank 9! Ready! Set! Battle!" The referee said, waving his Arm again.

"Let's do this, Roggenrola!"

Bane tossed a Ball, and from the Light came a Blue and Brown Roggenrola.

'Roggenrola? ...First time seeing one in real life. I guess I should go with...'

Tossing the Ball, I quickly change the Size Setting, and as the Light dispersed from Mare's Body...

Her Size was Larger, but still smaller than her Original Size. Almost like a Normal-Sized Lapras.
