I checked in with Nurse Joy.

We were going through the Procedures, and...

...She had a whopping 20 Pokemon helping her in the Pokemon Center.

Safe to say, I didn't even need to ask if I should help or not. The place was empty.

'Well there goes my chance to make some cash...'

She gave me one last Checkup, and I was good to go.

"Try not to overdo it, alright?" She warned me.

"Thank you. I'll be more careful from now on."

With that, I left the Pokemon Center.

"I guess... This is where we part ways, huh?" Lock said.

"...If you say so... ...You'll be alright. I mean, even if you do end up married to her, you can just try to be the best damn husband you can be. That'll put you in a brighter light, no?" I told him.

"That's... ...I guess. ...I could give it a try."

"Invite me to the Wedding. If you can, that is." I held out my fist.

"...Hmph. Even if I can't, I'll find a way to send you one anyway."

With a final fist bump...

"Don't be a stranger." He said.

"Can't get any stranger than this."

"Haha! Haah, you stay safe, ya hear?"

"You too."

...We parted ways...

'...It was fun, having another Dude in the Party for once.' I sighed.

...And now I stand in front of the Gym.

"...Hm?"

Something caught my eye on the Light Up Sign above the Gym's Entrance.

'...Geode Gym?'

Unlike the Games, it wasn't just "Rock-Type Gym" or "Pewter Gym". This Gym actually had a Name...

...And it was called Geode.

A Geode is a special type of Stone with separate Minerals or Crystals held within it. Cracking it in half will give you a beautiful glimpse at the strange ways the Earth has made those Minerals.

'Although that caught me a bit off guard... A Gym is still a Gym. I wonder what the Inside looks like.'

Taking a deep breath, I take my first step inside...

...Well, at least, I was going to.

...The Door was Locked.

'...Hm?'

"Hold it."

...Someone called out behind me.

I turned to see a Middle-Aged Man who seemed to have been walking by. He didn't look all too friendly judging from the look on his face, and his eyes seemed to be stabbing into me, evaluating me.

"...Yes?" I said.

"...Gym Battles don't start until Tomorrow at Nine."

'...Ah. ...I forgot.'

"You have nothing to do until then, right? Why not drop by my Cafe for the time being?" The Man suddenly said.

"...Ah..."

'...Looks can be deceiving.'

"I... ...I guess I'll take you up on your offer." I said.

"Great! Follow me."
