Hiding in the nearby bushes, I found the Team Rocket Grunts that Sui warned us about.
And these Grunts specifically...
Were the same ones we met in Ilex Forest.
'Why are they here? I thought they worked in the Ilex Forest...'
"Ka~ne! Can I go and Figh-Catch something already? I'm bored~!" R-2 said.
"GOD you're impossible. Don't you have anything better to do?" R-1, Kane, said.
"But it's Bo~ri~ng!"
"Just shut up already. In this Team, I'm the Brains, and you're the... What are you again?"
"I'm your Emotional Supporter!"
"Worthless. That's correct. Now let me do what I need to, and shut up."
"Aww~. But I wanna do something fun! ...Hey, you!"
Turning her head, she faces in my exact direction with scary accurate precision.
'What the Hell!? What kind of Instinct do you need to have to be able to find me in this Jungle of a Forest without even a glimpse!?'
...Standing up, I walk into view of the Rocket Grunts.
"...Oh! It's you!" Bonnie immediately recognized me.
"This Brat again? And by the looks of it, the Ralts is here too." And so did Kane.
Mina stood behind me the entire time.
"...Souta, I seriously don't like this..." She said.
'I know how you feel, but... I don't think we have much of a Choice anymore.'
"Hey! Hey! Battle me! I'm bored, so I want you to fight me!" Bonnie said with a Passion in her eyes.
"...Alright. But, how are we doing this?" I asked.
"One on One! One of mine against One of yours! If I win, I get your Pokemon!" She explained.
"What!? Adding a condition like that!?"
"Haha! And I'll be using this bad boy!"
Throwing an Ultra Ball...
A Houndoom pops out.
"Houndoom!? Seriously!? You DO realize we're in a Low Level Area, right!?"
"Hahaha! Ahh... Doesn't matter." She suddenly took on a serious look.
"Wha- ...Still, a Houndoom is a bit much."
"...Alright, fine! I'll hold back JUST A LITTLE."
Taking a Collar from the small Bag at her side, she attaches it to Houndoom
"There, Happy?" She said.
"...What did you do?"
"What? Never seen a Limiter before? Have you been living under a Rock?"
"For almost an entire Day, yes."
"Pfft, Haha! I like you! How about this? I'll set Houndoom's Level to 20! And if you can beat me, I'll even give you a Limiter of your very own! Changes Color too!" She turned it from Gray to Black.
"Now hold on. Isn't that Top Grade Equipment that's meant to be kept Top Secret? And you're just gonna give one to some stranger we met a few days ago?" Kane wasn't so sure...
"It's Fine! I can beat him!"
