"What is it, Reiner? Feeling lonely tonight?" Ymir teased, while holding her lamp. "Surprising, i never got the impression that you were interested in woman." She smirked.
Reiner was expressionless. His face didn't move an inch. "Yeah, you don't seem interested in guys either."
She scoffed. "I figured i may as well pass the time by looking for something to eat." Ymir kept looking in the chest. "This'll probably end up being my last meal.l
Reiner kept a close eye on Ymir. "The conversation with Connie earlier, were you trying to distract him? I'd like it if you could keep doing it. I don't want him dwelling on what happened to his family."
"What are you talking about?" she asked, not taking her eyes off the chest, still looking through it. She found something. "Oh, this could be good. Herring isn't my favourite, though." she smiled lightly while looking at the can.
Reiner went closer to her. "Is that all you found? Could i see it?"he asked. Ymir gave him the food. He inspected the can. "So the food here is canned?" Reiner was slightly taken back. "What kind of writing is this?I don't ever recognise it." . Reiner was still looking at the can. "These letters say herring? So you...know how to read this language?" They were both silent. It was crucifying; they just glared at each other, shocked. They might've been smart, but they just caught each other off. Both Ymir and Reiner weren't so smart as everyone thought.
Their silence was then disturbed by one of the soldiers shouting out loud. The titans had awoken and they were taking the castle down.

The snow was not only shaken from whitewash buckets down the sky, it came shawling out of the ground and swam and drifted out of the arms and hands and bodies of the trees; snow grew overnight on the roofs of the houses, minutely ivied the walls and settled on everything it could numb. All I could feel on my tender, fragile skin was frezzing cold air ,my jacket and clothing weren't good enough to keep me warm. The sound of silence around me was chilling and frighting, in every posible way. Then I heard a crackle and a snap in the forest around me.
"Sorry..." She said, almost in a whisper. Her nose and cheeks were red while the rest of her face was pale - you could hear how she was faintly breathing and barely holding on. We were lost in the forest but kind of near to the cabin which we were spending some days in, my hands couldn't move and i was barely even walking properly. I was scared. I didn't know how to begin a conversation nor how could i be able to speak when i barely held my eyes open; but i couldn't keep my eyes off her.
Some of her dark hair was being blown by the wind - her blue orbs were watery and half way opened; they were the kind of eyes you could stare at forever, it reminded you of something majestic like... like the aurora borealis. Aurora... Aurora's eyes reminded me of the aurora borealis, and a clean ocean - the one you'd wanna go in without being scared of finding some rubbish or disgusting things in it. She's like the perfect place that everyone would wanna visit.
She's always minding her business, barely talks to any people... i've noticed that since we've captured Annie she kept talking lesser then usual; it's probably because they were close friends. Aurora was really blunt and she never really seem like the person who'd lie to you. If she didn't like something she would tell you, that's why it was hard for her to make friends.
I wanted to be her friend.
I looked around, trying to remember my way back when I triped on a colossal broken log, when I fell on my hands they were both cold and scrached it felt painful for a second. She came and helped me... Her hands were cold, colder than mine. She had pulled me up and held my hand. I smelled smoke like a fire and I wanted to find where it was coming from. I finaly heard laughing up the hill then I saw a bright glowing light, and then I followed it, I could almost feel the warmth of the fire- placing on my icy cold skin. She was still holding my hand...

The ODM Gear was finally caught on something - the swords were dug deep into the horrific skin of a beast and blood shattered around it. "Everyone stay back." Aurora commanded. "We'll take it from here."
"Aurora!" Krista looked at peace, knowing that they had been saved. Scouts were flying in air, killing titans. Eren's swords had finally slashed through the nape of a titan; his first ever kill since he'd became a scout.
"Mikasa! Did you see that?!" He shouted in excitement, looking over at Mikasa who smiled and gave him all her attention. "I had my first kill!" He smiled. His ODM Gear got caught in something causing Eren to loose balance and fall down. "Dumbass! I told you to stay on the ground, Eren!" One of the soldiers shouted at Eren who didn't really seem to care until the pain caught him.
Every titan was gone by sunrise. Some of the soldiers were still looking for titans while mostly of them were crowding to Krista who shed tears, the tears that wouldn't stop not even if you wanted to stop them. Krista was holding Ymir's now human body whose right limbs have been eaten by other titans when she tried protecting them.
"Ymir..." Krista said her name softly. At the hear of Krista's voice, Ymir awoken for a few seconds to see Krista smiling. "My name is...."
"...is Historia."
