"Sorry i'm late." An old man entered the silent room. He sat down at the table and crossed his arms. "Well? Have you figured out what's in that vial?"
"Well unfortunately..." Hange began. "we don't have the technology necessary to analyse something like this. Just like Eren and Historia have said, it seemed to be made from some kind of human bodily liquid. But because it evaporated on contact with the air, a detailed analysis is currently impossible. Whoever made it must have had technology far superior to ours. If the Reiss family made it, I can't imagine how they did it."
"In that case, we should forego further testing and instead use it to further our objectives." Shadis butter in. "Then who do we trust to hold on to it?" The old man asked. "Would you take it, Erwin?"
"No. My days as a soldier are over. The box should be entrusted to one of our strongest soldiers with the best odds of survivals. Levi could i ask you to take it?"
"Why are you making it a question?" Levi spatted, annoyed because Erwin should've just told him to take it.
"We can't predict what situations might call for the use of this vial. We'll have to trust in your ability to make decisions on spot. That includes deciding when and on whom it should be used." Erwin explained in detail, making sure Levi understands the cons of carrying it.
