Chapter 5 - November's Follies

So much has been on my mind that I needed some time away from Caitlynn's influences to make clear decisions. When you start dreaming about being her...that is when it is time to step back and clear your mind.

I was working on my plans for my first photoshoot that was coming up quickly. It was scheduled to be out of water; so just posing with a fishtail at the aquarium, and then dressing in Nordstrom's newest outfits.

I have done many photoshoots for volunteer work in the past, but this will be my first major 'corporation' job. So, I have dedicated many hours to researching the correct terminology and what types of clothing that was common in a woman's wardrobe.

If anything, I have learned from my encounter with Matthew that I do not have a single clue what it means to be a female. I still have much to learn about being a woman if I plan to advance my career as Caitlynn!

A man's wardrobe was easy to maintain!

You have a navy or black suit for business, a silk tie to go with the suit, and a white dress undershirt. Chinos to match the suit, although I prefer slacks that look 'dressier'. T-shirts are a must to catch the sweat, along with white briefs and socks. Two black belts made of sturdy leather to shape the body! And a pair of polished black dress shoes to complete the image.

But a woman's wardrobe! Oh my gosh! Where do I even start!

First, a successful woman should have a nice black dress, but there are so many different types of dresses for different occasions: Prom dresses for festivities, cocktail dresses for in-formal gatherings, formal event dresses for formal business attire, party dresses for glamour, sun dresses for vacations, and business dresses...and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The higher up you are in society, the more dresses that you are expected to own, just like guys with suits.

Then there is quality denim, not to be confused with blue jean denim; and at least one dress slack for those blustery days. Skinny jeans and shorts to show off those legs, and you should also own one or two skirts.

At least 14 basic blouses of all colors to match the bottoms; cardigans, strapless tank tops, and tee-shirts. Brassieres like uplift plunge bras to emphasize the bust, sports bras to contain, t-shirt bras for normal wear, and lacy bras for nightly intimacy. A purse for work, and a tote for town.

Seamless underwear, thongs, standard panties, intimates, boyish boxers, and cotton underwear just to name a few undergarments. Socks are similar to men's socks, but I also need to know the difference between a spandex versus a nylon. Then there is the matter of shoes: sneakers, heels, sandals, flats, and dress shoes are a must!

And all of this...and I still did not cover sleepwear and swimwear!

My silver phone rang, tearing me away from my research. I slowly got up from my computer and walked over to see who was calling me on a Thursday morning. I then saw the name:

Incoming: November Brookes

"Hello Ember!" I immediately answered the call, cheery and happy that it was her, of all people, calling me this morning!

"Hi Sky! I hope that I am not bothering you."

"Not at all!" I replied "What is going on!?"

"I was just calling to see if you have some time today to do some modeling! Our model is out sick with the virus and I know that you could use the cash."
