When Yvette woke up, she was met with the worried faces of Amelie, Bonnie, Caroline, Stefan, Damon and... Elijah? Why was Elijah here?
Caroline was the first to notice Yvette woke up. "Guys! Guys! She's awake."
"Oh, thank God," Amelie said, breathing out a sigh of relief. She didn't know what she'd do if her sister didn't wake up
"You are so lucky you didn't die on me, psycho," Damon told her with a small smile.
Yvette rolled her eyes before she spoke. "Shut up, Damon." Her voice came out raspy, hoarse and barely audible. "I need water."
"On it!" Caroline exclaimed and ran to the kitchen.
Yvette rolled her eyes and chuckled at the blonde's eagerness. It was cute.
"Are you ok?" Stefan asked her and she nodded.
"I might just be bedridden for the next..." she paused to think, "two hours or so."
Everyone chuckled at her words.
When the laughter died out, Bonnie came closer to her and gave Yvette a hug. "I was so scared you'd die!" Bonnie yelled. "What happened?"
Yvette hugged her back tentatively before she spoke. "Ok, that's enough, I do not hug."
"Oh yeah, sorry." Bonnie nodded and left her alone. Seconds later, Caroline was back with three glasses of water.
"I'm so sorry I took so long," Caroline told Yvette. "So I didn't know if you preferred sparkling, bottled or tap water, and then I was like maybe I should bring all three, but THEN I couldn't carry all three so—"
"—It's fine, thank you. I want the bottled," Yvette interrupted her.
Caroline smiled and gave it to her.
"Yvette," Elijah finally spoke up. "How can I be of assistance?"
"Well, Elijah, you could leave, how about that?" Amelie told him, patronising him with a smile.
Yvette shot her sister a look and she kept quiet, muttering a sorry. "Elijah," Yvette's voice was clearer now, "we need to strike a deal with Niklaus and find a way to—"
"—You know very well why I am not willing to do that, Yvette," Elijah told her, not wanting the unknown vampires and witch to know his private matters.
"They aren't in the bottom of the ocean," Yvette told him. "Klaus lied like he always does."
Elijah sighed. "Very well then, but you are aware that is not the assistance that I was referring to, Yvette."
"I'll deal with the burden that your brother has put on me," Yvette told him, eyes growing detached and voice becoming cold.
"I truly am sorry."
Yvette shook her head. "Why? You're not the one who lied."
After a brief moment of awkward silence, Bonnie spoke up again.
"Damon said you want to leave Mystic Falls," she told Yvette.
Yvette nodded her head. "Our being here puts all of you in danger."
"Don't go," Caroline pleaded, "maybe the girl squad can fix it?"
"I admire your optimism," Amelie told Caroline. "However, I'm afraid she's right. The witches figured out where we are so we need to leave"
"I'm a witch," Bonnie spoke up. "Can't I do something to help you?"
Yvette chuckled, only slight amused. "We need more than just one witch, Bon." Yvette told her with a sad smile.
