Yvette found herself alone in the darkness, her thoughts consumed by her argument with Damon.

Her tumultuous thoughts were interrupted by a voice, Klaus's.

"Hello love," Klaus's voice echoed in the night.

Startled, Yvette turned towards him. "You came," she acknowledged with a small smile.

"You called," Niklaus replied, a cheeky grin playing on his lips. "I always do when you call," he added, his smirk fading as concern flashed in his eyes, noticing her despondent state. "What happened?"

Yvette attempted to build a wall of indifference, but under Klaus's scrutinising gaze, the bricks crumbled. "What do you mean?" She deflected, furrowing her brows in false confusion.

"You're shaking, and you look different,"
Klaus observed, his tone tinged with worry. "There is something wrong."

Ignoring his concern, Yvette leaned in closer, her voice low and breathy in an attempt to mask her vulnerability and seduce. "Why don't you make those lips of yours useful?" she whispered, desperation lacing her words.

Confusion clouded Klaus's expression as he hesitated, unsure of Yvette's mental state. "What?" Klaus couldn't believe the words he was hearing. Her words confirmed that something was surely wrong with her.

Undeterred, Yvette smirked, seizing his face. With a subtle flick of her tongue across her lower lip, she looked up at him, her gaze oddly vulnerable. "Please?" She implored, craving a distraction.

"I do not think—" Klaus began, but before he could finish, Yvette silenced him with a kiss, her arms encircling his neck, hands tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer.

Klaus knew it was wrong. Yvette was so obviously not in her right mind. But as he felt the warmth of her lips, the familiar pull of her hand on his hair, and the warmth of her body against his, there was nothing on earth that could stop him, but Yvette herself.

Pulling away from her mouth, Klaus buried his face in her neck, peppering kisses across the sensitive area.

Yvette tilted her head back, suppressing a moan as she bit her lip. "That feels nice," she murmured, a fleeting moment of reprieve from her inner turmoil.

After a brief interlude, Yvette grasped his hair, urging him upward.

"Take me to Lyon," Yvette demanded, her voice hoarse and breathy. "Take me to the house near the lake."

Struggling to regain his composure,
Klaus complied, his mind spinning with conflicting emotions as he whisked her away to the house near the lake as she requested.

Breaking the door open because he didn't remember where he put the key, he sped her to a room, pushing her against the wall.

"Say thank you," he instructed, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.

Yvette rolled her eyes, a smirk playing on her lips as she removed her top. "How's this for a thank you?" She quipped, her eyes dancing with mischief.

Klaus chuckled, his gaze lingering on her.
"It's the best one l've ever received."

Smirk still on her lips, Yvette went in for another kiss and Niklaus returned it, kissing her back like a starving man.

Although, in the back of his mind, he hoped she was alright.

Meanwhile, back in Mystic Falls, Stefan, Amelie, Bonnie, and Caroline remained on edge as they scoured the forest in search of the missing Yvette.
