As you may or may not know, Lydia, a girl with black hair, has a bad habit of changing her name, probably worse than Marcie's habit of calling Peppermint Patty "Sir", and claiming boys who are older than her are "Too old for her", as shown when Linus tried to compliment her, only for her to use rude remarks, some of which get him into trouble.

One Saturday, as there was no school, Lydia was sitting on the park bench, watching the world go by. One boy walked over to her. This boy was none other than 555.

"Oh. Hello." said 555. "You wouldn't mind me taking this seat, would you?"

"I don't know." quivered Lydia. "When were you born?"

"I was born in October." said 555.

"I was born in December." replied Lydia. "Say, aren't you kind of old for me?"

"I'm only 2 months older than you!" said 555 angrily. "And I'm not asking you to marry me!"

"We'll see about that." scoffed Lydia.

"It's true!" said 555. "Besides, I've already got a girl in Britney!"

"Anyway," said Lydia. "What is your name?"

"Because of the town I come from, they call me 555, but my real name is in fact Clive."

"Nice meeting you, Clive." said Lydia. "Today, my name is Lydia. Yesterday, I was Louise, but I also like Laura."

"Oh, good grief!" sighed 555. "It's the same girl who changes her name all the time!"

Lydia, upon hearing this, just got off the bench and walked off.

"What's up with that girl?" wondered 555.

Lydia made her way to the ice cream shop. She stood in line, waiting her turn to order herself ice cream. Right in front of her, there was Linus with Janice.

"There's the very man in front of me." Lydia thought.

After ordering her strawberry ice cream, she walked by Linus and Janice, the former of whom had ordered chocolate, and the latter who had ordered strawberry.

"Oh no!" Linus sighed.

"You wouldn't mind sharing our table, would you?" asked Janice.

"I don't know." said Lydia. "When were you born?"

"I was born in March." said Janice.

"I was born in December." said Lydia. "Say, since Mister was born in October, aren't you young for him?"

"He may be 5 months older than me," said Janice. "But I don't mind boys who are older than me."

Lydia simply walked out of the ice cream shop, leaving Linus and Janice to eat their ice cream.

"Good grief! What's eating her?" Linus grumbled.

"Beats me!" said Janice.

"No wonder she wasn't skipped any grades." Linus added.

Lydia returned to the bench at the park she was sitting at before 555 bothered her. But as she did, there sat a boy with brown hair. We know this boy to be Eugene, Emerald's little brother. Upon looking at Lydia, he showed some love in his eyes.

"Hello, Beautiful." said Eugene. "You got lovely hair."

Lydia looked toward Eugene with concern.

"Do I know you?" asked Lydia.

"Oh, how rude of me. I'm Eugene. Eugene Peter Green."

"Today, my name is Lydia. Yesterday, I was Louise, but I also like Laura."
