It was class time for the students at Sparkyville Middle School, and everyone was making their way to their individual classes. As Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, Heather, Spearmint Sammy, Tommy, Frieda, Emerald, Franklin and Shermy headed into their class, they found their teacher, Mr. Legstrong with a girl they had never seen before.
This girl had long dark brown hair with a bang covering her left eye, and dressed in a gold sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
"Class." said Mr. Legstrong. "I would very much like to introduce you to Lisa Petrocelli."
"Hello, Lisa." the whole class said.
"Hello, everyone." said Lisa.
"So Lisa, tell these students about yourself."
"Okay." said Lisa. "We just moved in from New York. My dad runs his very own gym. He chose Sparkyville to move into as he thought it'd be a nice place to run a gym."
"I thought my gym was the only gym in town." thought Spearmint Sammy.
"Along with the one Tommy and Scarlet forced me into." thought Emerald.
"Anyway," said Lisa. "I have to take my position in this class now."
Lisa made a beeline towards the whole class.
"She sounds rather tough, having a dad who runs a gym." thought Charlie Brown.
So for the rest of the day, whenever Lisa was around, Charlie Brown was hiding. During lunch, he hid under the lunch table when Heather Wold went looking for him.
"Charlie Brown!" she called.
But Charlie Brown didn't respond.
"What are you doing under the table?" Heather asked.
"It's..... it's...."
"Yes?"
"It's that Lisa girl." said Charlie Brown. "I hear her father runs a gym. Considering how Lucy, Violet and Patty treated me in the past, she might as well be in the league they once were."
"Don't worry about her, Charlie Brown." said Heather. "Who knows? Maybe this Lisa is more easy going than she looks."
"That's pretty easy for you to say." thought Charlie Brown.
"Come on." said Heather. "I'll get you some lunch."
"Thanks, I guess." said Charlie Brown.
While Heather went to get Charlie Brown some lunch, there was Lisa having her lunch. She looked at Charlie Brown under the table, and was puzzled.
"What is that kid up to now?" she wondered.
Lisa would soon find out.
"I'm going to get some answers from the students." Lisa decided.
So Lisa set out to find answers. One kid Lisa came across was Linus van Pelt.
"Oh. Hello." said Linus. "You're Lisa, I hear."
"I am." said Lisa. "And.... who are you?"
"I'm Linus. Linus van Pelt."
"Nice to meet you, Linus." said Lisa.
"So what brings you to me?" asked Linus.
"Are you familiar with a kid dressed in a yellow shirt with a black zigzag?" asked Lisa.
"Oh. You're talking about Charlie Brown?"
"Yes. That's him." said Lisa. "I just saw him sitting under a table in the cafeteria. It's like he's afraid of me."
