She was falling for him hard. She sat now, staring at him as he sat reading over the work that Dominic had done while they were in North Carolina. As far as she could tell, his concentration was fully on the file he was holding.
He'd spent most of the morning, helping her refile all of the files into boxes. He'd been professional, but she could tell he'd been distracted by her. She'd kept it professional too, but she didn't want to.
The dark, sexual side of her wanted to do many things. She wanted to walk over, kneel down under the table, and pull him out of his dress pants, and into her mouth again. She also wanted to slide her panties down and lean over the table right in front of him in invitation. After having him in her mouth last night, she now wanted him elsewhere, which made her both horny and apprehensive.
He looked fine too today, in that blue suit. Blue was her favorite color on him. It brought out his beautiful eyes. She could imagine wrapping that tie of his around her hand while she pulled him in for a kiss.
"Miss Kennedy."
She looked up. "Yes, Mr. Remington?"
"Get your mind out of the gutter so I can finish this up. You're very distracting," he said, not looking up from the file he was diligently reading.
"Are you sure you can't read my mind?" she asked. She'd never even made a sound.
"No that's one thing I will never be able to do, though sometimes I swear my mother and father can read each other's minds, but I think it's just because they're so close." He was still looking down at the file.
"So then how do you know my mind is in the gutter?" She swore he was in her mind somehow. Between him knowing what she was thinking and her dreams, it was like he had a direct connection.
"Your scent," he said, flipping a page.
Her cheeks heated up. She'd completely forgotten about that. He'd told her it changed when she was turned on. "That's kind of embarrassing."
He shut the file and looked up at her. "Why?"
She shrugged. "I really don't know."
"If I know your aroused, I can do something about it," he said with a smile.
"Like now?" Please?
"No, Miss Kennedy. We're at work," he said with a smirk.
"Didn't stop you yesterday," she muttered under her breath.
He laughed. "That was celebratory."
She smiled. "Yes it was."
"I need you to read this over now, but I'm going to my desk because I need to add some things to it." He stood. "By the way, I would like to know what you were thinking."
"I will tell you, but not here because that would be highly inappropriate for the work place." She took the file from him and sat down.
He leaned down, placing a hand on either arm rest of her chair. "Were your fantasies taking place in the work place?"
She looked at him through her lashes. "Maybe."
"Maybe isn't an answer," he said, his gaze on her.
"Then yes. In this room," she said.
"Tell me."
"I was thinking about getting on my knees under the table and repeating what I did last night. Or just sliding my panties off and bending over the table in front of you." She tipped her head up and looked him straight in the eye.
