Ritz Carlton
"Mommy you said me on TV!" Peyton said excitedly over the phone.
Toni chuckled, "Yes I did mention you, baby. Were you excited?"
"Yes, I love you too Mommy." Toni smiled. "I like you dress too Mommy. It red."
"Yes, it was red."
"Mmhmm it was beauty-boo!"
"Thank you."
"You win two times and I see daddy too and auntie Janet and Ms. Whitney and her sing with a lady. Grandma too."
"Mmhmm, that's grandma's favorite song."
"Yes her said and I was dancing. Grandma video me."
"Okay, I'll ask her for the video." The mother-and-daughter duo continued talking on the phone until it was time for Peyton to take a nap. She was about to close her phone when she saw a message from Whitney.
Nippy 💜- We're going on Rodeo, would you and Kenny like to join us?
Sure.
Nippy 💜- Okay meet us in the lobby.
She walked to the living room and told Kenny about Whitney's plan. He agreed and the two of them got ready to meet the couples in the hotel lobby. Joey soon came and all of them loaded into the limo.
"So what are we going to buy?"
"Everything."
"Some of us have to go back to Atlanta, we don't live in Cali like you Nip."
"That's ain't my problem." She joked and they laughed. After driving for about thirty minutes, they arrived at the mall. Getting out of the car, they quickly walked in before pictures could be taken. The mall was a bit empty but people could still notice them. The guys went their separate ways and so did their women.
"Do you like this Janet? I should put this on for your brother one night." Janet gagged causing Whitney and Toni to laugh. The three of them were in this store called Silk Seduction which sells lingerie and other things.
"Please don't. Don't remind me."
"Oh, Toni I meant to ask you this when it happened."
"Mmhmm."
"How come you weren't there at the Soul Train awards?"
"When?" Toni said looking at Whitney.
"It was 1995 I think. I saw your name on the list but I didn't see you show up."
"Ohhh." Toni said and Janet chuckled.
"Am I missing something?"
"No."
"Yes, she was with Babyface."
"Oh! You guys were dating at that time too? I didn't know that."
"That's because they weren't." Whitney's mouth dropped at Janet's comment. Toni playfully pushed Janet and the three of them laughed.
"Actually we were going to go but after things happened... we realized that we missed the show."
"Mmhmm, you guys are nasty."
"You guys already knew that."
"So wait, the show was about two hours long so that means... ohhhh!" Whitney exclaimed and Toni covered her mouth.
"Shut up."
"Two consecutive hours." Whitney said when Toni removed her hand from her mouth.
"Who said we started when the show did?" Toni said matter-of-factly and then walked to pay for her items. Janet and Whitney looked at each other in shock. After paying for their items the next store they went to was Juicy Couture.
