Nobody's POV
December 25
7:38 PM

Toni was the first to wake up with the urge to use the bathroom. Her baby is resting right on her bladder so she always has to use the bathroom. Once she finished she walked back in bed, moving Peyton over. After minutes of trying to fall asleep, Toni just accepted fate and laid there.

"Daddy..." Peyton tapped her father trying to wake him up.

"Pey, Daddy's still sleeping."

"Oh, I wanna open presents."

"Okay baby, let's brush your teeth first." Toni got up and grabbed her robe. She put it on and picked up Peyton. They walked to the bathroom and she sat Peyton on the counter. Toni helped Peyton brush her teeth and wash her face.

"Santa eat the cookies?"

"I don't know, we have to check." Once the duo finished their hygiene, they walked downstairs into the living room.

"Woah, mommy!" Peyton exclaimed as she saw the cookies gone along with the carrots that she left out for the reindeer. "Them eat all."

"Yeah, they did." Toni spoke. Last night she and Kenny had to eat all the cookies and gave the carrots to the dogs. Toni started making breakfast while Peyton played with Lady and Simba. Kenny soon woke up and helped his wife in the kitchen.

Once breakfast was done, the three of them ate as a family while Peyton talked about nothing. She finished her breakfast first, excited to open presents. "Before you open them, Mommy and I have something to tell you."

"Uh-huh?"

"Mommy is going to have a baby."

"Today?! Is the baby in that box?" Peyton asked as she pointed to one of the boxes underneath the Christmas tree.

"No, it's in my tummy."

"Ohh, it's a girl like me?"

"We don't know yet baby, we have to wait until my belly gets bigger."

"Okay, can I open presents now?"

Kenny chucked, "Yes."

Latoya's POV

I can't believe that I'm a mother! It feels so good. I never thought that I would have someone to love and someone to care for but I do! Her mother is African and Polynesian while her father is Polynesian. Yes, it's a girl. I let her parents name her and then I gave her my first and last name; Milani Yvonne Jackson. Her first name means gentle caress.

She turned a month old last week and she's still so small. I love it when Lani does that baby scrunch, it's so cute and when she yawns or sneezes, I find that so adorable.

I was in the room when she was born being that I was her mother's Lamaze Coach. The labor and delivery went smoothly and within three hours, Milani was born. Of course, her parents held her first and I took a few pictures to show Milani when she gets older. I held her next and I instantly fell in love with her. She's just so beautiful.

While pregnant, her mother lactated so she pumped and froze the milk and that's what I feed her sometimes, along with the formula. I also let her mother breastfeed her for the first time, I'm glad she wasn't one of those mothers who didn't want anything to do with their child after birthing them. I paid them enough for them to pay off their student loans and have money left over for life after college. Even though I didn't have to pay them anything, they didn't have to give me their child.

I'm staying with my parents for a while so they can help me adjust to being a new mom since they have years of experience. The first days that she was home, all she did was sleep, which was good. I wasn't sure how many times I should feed her a day and my father said five times.
