Toni's POV
We've been home for almost a week but it feels like forever. Our honeymoon was long but short at the same time. Anyway, Halloween is in a couple of days and I don't know if I'm dressing up. I know Peyton wants to be Tiana for sure, I hope she changes her mind. My phone buzzed knocking me out of my thoughts. I picked it up seeing that Janet was the one calling me.
"Hello?" I answered as I picked up the phone.
"Hey girl, how are you? How was the honeymoon?"
"It was amazinggg and I'm doing good, how are you?"
"I could be better, I have to catch you up."
"Ohhh, I'm all ears."
"Nuh-uh, I need to tell you in person. How about Saturday?"
"Girl, I'm going to be thinking about what you have to say until Saturday, but that's fine."
She laughed, "I'm busy the next couple of days that's why."
"That's okay Jan."
"Mommy come play with me please." Peyton said while sitting down next to me.
"One second baby."
"Is that grandma?"
"No baby it's Janet." I put the phone on speaker so that Janet could say hi.
"Oh, hi Auntie Janet."
"Hi Pey, how are you?"
"I good, how you?"
"I'm good."
"Tell Mommy play with me."
"Toni go play with your child." I laughed.
"Okay, I'll see you Saturday."
"You will, bye."
"Byeee!" Peyton and I both said. I put my phone down and played with her dolls.
"Mommy you not play right."
"I'm sorry, what do I need to do?"
"You walk up the stairs, not hop."
"Okay, boss." We played for a while before she got hungry. I got up and then quickly sat down. I felt woozy like I was about to pass out.
"Mommy you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine baby." I got up again, feeling better this time and I walked into the kitchen. "What do you want baby?"
"Umm rice and chicken."
"Okay, ask Daddy if he wants some too." I heard her walking in the direction of Kenny's home office. I'm hungry too, I don't know why when I just ate about an hour ago. Maybe my period is coming. I took out the leftovers from the fridge and put the food on plates.
"Him said yes, and him coming." I nodded and soon heard Kenny's footsteps coming my way. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck.
"Hey, baby."
"Hi, love. Are you okay?"
"Yes, why?"
"Peyton said that you almost fell."
I giggled and shook my head, "Peyton is being dramatic. I just got up too fast, that's all." I shrugged.
"You did the same thing this morning and yesterday."
"I did not!" I felt Kenny nod as he let me go. I turned to look at him as he leaned against the counter.
"You did... you know— never mind." He shook his head.
