"JUST ADMIT you did it on purpose." Shauna is so clearly horridly drunk, her mouth hangs open and her eyes are wide and glistening in the light that the fire far away provides. She's slurring her words, and Delilah was sure that if she hadn't tried so hard to balanced herself with her footing, she'd be on the floor in a heap. Though Delilah had no doubt Shauna would find a way to get up and throw insults at Tai either way if that happened.

Taissa turned around, eyebrows furrowed. Just a second ago, she was listening to Delilah Darling being harassed by her insanely popular baseball boyfriend, and then break up with him over a reason unknown. That was unusual as it is, but now, Shauna Shipman going angry and sassy with the familiar mixture of her feelings and what seemed like a bottomless solo cup of cheap beer, (a switch from her normal Malibu and milk at least). Now that was a bit more usual than Delilah dumping a boy that was supposed to be perfect in every way.

"Excuse me?" Taissa spat out, leaning her head down a bit to stare at Shauna, who looked furious, eyes narrowed with a glare towards her own face. The Turner girl examined the symptoms of her drunkenness. Shauna was stumbling, slurring and swaying. 'The three Shipman S's' the team called it, when they went to a party and Shauna drank too much.

No one knew why she did this, a lot just assumed she liked the taste, but surely Malibu and milk can't be that good, definitely not enough that she would repeat times before where it had not ended so well for Shauna, especially the time when she had found herself curled up on-top of Lottie's pool table in Mr Matthew's private office room. Somewhere off limits ever since Randy Walsh had crashed inside it and puked all over the fancy, expensive reclining chair that the man had recently bought.

Others, like Delilah and some teammates that knew Shauna better than those who didn't, (though no one spoke Shauna Shipman as bilingually as Jackie Taylor) assumed that, since Jackie pulled Shauna to most parties and then proceeded to dismiss her for the dipshit Jeff, drinking until she crashed pathetically and embarrassed herself totally, was the only option Shauna had.

Although it got her into uncomfortable situations and had awful consequences, the only slightly positive time being the party where Delilah had jumped on her in a senior's bathroom one random time, Shauna looked to not want to stop.

Whilst others had accumulated to see Shauna and Tai speak harshly to each other, Delilah eyed the girl, seeing the way her lips glistened with what she was sure her mind was making up. Memories of what once coated the bottom half of Shauna's face coming up as pure hallucinations from her own imagination. Obviously, she was trying to find excuses for Shauna's sudden argumentative burst.

High off of their recent encounter was the only one Delilah could come up with, as she saw the way her presence was immediately acknowledged by a flicker in Shauna's eyes.
