SHAUNA WANDERED towards the cabin, her hands by her sides and rubbing at the fabric of her shorts. She sighed, moving her arm to open the door and stepping inside, looking around for a moment before seeing Jackie standing near the attic entrance.

She was dressed in a white top with a yellow vest over the top and a pair of shorts, Shauna would've laughed at her best friends choice of style if she had not been in such a mood at that moment.

That morning had put Shauna on a constant edge, looking around the clearing they resided in and searching for a certain someone every second of the day. The dream had intensified the feelings she had about the situation that was going on, and it didn't help that what made it so much worse for her was that she hadn't been able to speak to Delilah since then, since she up and left and Shauna only found out after she woke up earlier than expected.

Shauna didn't even know what she would say to Delilah if she had to. I mean, how could you tell a girl that you've been sleeping with, that you had a dream about her doing unspeakable things to you, just after having done the same to her. How would that conversation go?

Shauna didn't want to find out.

"Hey. Uh, everyone's heading down to the lake." She said, walking into the room that Jackie stood in, staring at her. "I'm just gonna go change." Shauna went to walk past her to the attic ladder, but Jackie stepped inside front of her.

"Nope. You are finally gonna tell me what the hell is going on." She said stubbornly, crossing her arms. Shauna furrowed her brows, fiddling with her fingers immediately. "What? What are you talking about?" She knew what Jackie was talking about, she had been acting weird, different. But she had a reason. Shauna had a lot to think about, and Jackie wasn't supposed to know about everything Shauna had to think about.

"Jackie, nothing's going on." Shauna shook her head, speaking quietly. "Okay." Jackie clicked her tongue, leaning on the doorframe with a small sarcastic smile. "Liar."

Shauna looked at her, pausing, before trying to walk around Jackie. She felt her heart pounding and she knew that if Jackie kept looking at her like that, she would break eventually. As Shauna attempted to walk away, Jackie immediately jumped into action and walked to the attic ladder, going to pull it up.

"No, no. You do not get to...Oh, my God. Why are these so heavy?" Jackie groaned. Shauna watched on as she struggled with a cocked brow, her arms crossed and her hip leaning on the doorframe. She looked unimpressed. Jackie huffed, still trying. "Are you done?"

Jackie scoffed, turning around with an angry look, her eyebrows furrowed heavily. "No, I'm not done! You're obviously hiding something from me, and it's making me feel crazy." She snapped, clenching her fists by her side. Shauna stared at her, swallowing subtly. What she didn't know what that Jackie caught it, she always did with Shauna. She knew every second that Shauna spent doing something, even the most mundane things, was for a purpose. And that, was purposeful.
