AND SO, wet damp clothes and hair soggy, they all made the trek up the hill that they had seen the reflection on, hoping that it was something of worth. Delilah huffed, her gaze on her shoes, watching as they crunched over the cracking twigs. "Guys it here, it's here!" Shauna shouted, her voice echoing with excitement.

They turned the corner, being met with a large cabin. Delilah smiled, her eyes wide with relief. It was like walking into the gates of heaven. All girls began to rush to the windows, Jackie and Delilah banging on the door whilst everyone else checked to see if anyone was inside.

"Hello? Anybody home?" Everyone soon called out desperately, hoping that maybe someone would be able to help them. When no reply came or no footsteps heard, Delilah looked down at the handle on the door. It was cracked, though looked unlocked.

She nudged Jackie next to her, pointing her attention down at the handle too. They shared a look, before pushing as hard as they could whilst pulling the handle down. Eventually, the door creaked open, and a stench of old rotting wood hit their noses.

Delilah winced, looking behind her before stepping inside, followed by the rest of the girls. Only Lottie stayed back, an uncertain look on her face.

"Hello?" Jackie spoke, looking around the dusty place. "Maybe they just, went on a hike?" Laura Lee suggested, only to be shot down quickly by Jackie turning around. "Yeah, like a decade ago." She walked around them to look at the spider webs incasing the windows.

"It reeks in here." She spat. Delilah nodded her head, continuing to look around and examine the place. "Jesus." Van spoke as she and Natalie walked into what looked like the kitchen, it had a table with some bottles on and a plate with a knife and fork lay out on top. They were covered with dust.

"You guys check the pantry, see if there's any food." Tai ordered, ushering Jackie and Mari away as the former crossed her arms. "Everyone else, look around for stuff we can use. First aid, flashlights, tools."

Everyone began to search about. Delilah immediately went to the fireplace, looking at the large moose head above it with a shiver and a grimace. She clutched her bag straps, pulling it closer to her body. "Jesus christ." She muttered, before looking around the fireplace in search for some firewood.

"What the hell? Jackie that's not your personal buffet." Tai yelled as everyone turned to see Jackie holding a can of food, opening it quickly. Only she dropped it even quicker as the food spilled all over the floor, rotting and mouldy.
