LOTTIE WASN'T going to sleep. Delilah had tried everything, she'd cuddled closer to her with her arm thrown over Lottie's waist and put her head underneath the crook of her neck. Nothing. Delilah had not moved since she'd lay down, in the hopes that it would help Lottie just fade away and fall asleep. Nothing.

After huffing with annoyance, standing up and hearing Lottie's tiny voice questioning where she was going, Delilah wandered towards the cabin door. Some heads turned from onlookers who still had yet to go to bed.

There was silence in the cabin and Lottie let her arm fall from where she had outstretched it after Delilah. She sighed through her nose, her head turning around looking a bit lost. Lottie swallowed, not hearing any movement outside, so she moved her body to the side, and let her hand fall on the empty side of bed.

She closed her eyes with a couple blinks, and began to fade away. It wasn't long before there was the sound of the cabin door opening, gentle footsteps making their way toward Lottie, and the familiar scent of Delilah's floral perfume flooding her half asleep senses.

Subconsciously, Lottie smiled a little, before her eyebrows furrowed at the feeling of Delilah cuddling closer. "Where did you go?" Lottie asked quietly. It was a moment before she got an answer, hearing Delilah breathe through her nose slowly. The hand around her waist moved to pull her in.

"Just the toilet. Don't worry."

In reality, Delilah knew that stepping away for a couple moments would help Lottie go to bed. Weirdly, despite Lottie seeking the girl in her sleep, when she was awake, it was like she couldn't go to sleep as she just wanted to be there with Delilah conscious.

"Okay. You smell nice."

"Lot, go to bed, sweetie."

DELILAH WATCHED from her spot near the fire, sat on an uncomfortable log, as Nat and Travis wandered into the clearing holding hands and looking like shy teenagers. Whistles came about and people began to speak teasingly.

She narrowed her eyes, raising a brow when Nat met her gaze. Delilah grinned, teasingly clicking her tongue. "Natalie and Travis sitting in a tree..."

"I think they were doing a bit more than kissing." Lottie said with a smirk, chuckling a little as Nat and Travis wandered closer to the cabin. Laughs were louder at that, and then Mari spoke up. "Hey, Nat. What exactly are you and Flex hunting for out there anyway?"

"I hear it's beaver season." Van spoke up, making the laughs louder. Nat threw her hand up with her middle finger outstretched and span around. "Sit and spin, assholes."
