"DO WE think it's still up there?" Akilah asked, looking around nervously. They all sat in the main room of the cabin, bedsheets and the normal view of pillows and etc sprawled about with bodies of sleeping girls around them. Some who remained awake jittered around the subject of what had just happened, and the rest lay peacefully unaware in the bliss of their own unconsciousness.

Lottie was one of those, her body spread whilst she snored slightly. She seemed to be the only one unnerved by her own actions and had no trouble forgetting it as she slept. Beside her lay Delilah, who was awake, eyes wide and staring at the roof above her, clearly feeling anxious.

She didn't partake in the conversation around her, hearing mutterings and then the loud refusal from Tai as she bundled up her things and flew up the attic ladder and retreated with an air of annoyance.

Delilah swallowed, her head turning after not moving an inch for a solid half an hour. Her eyes set on the view of Lottie's face, eyelids flickering as she seemed to dream, and her mouth wide open in something that Delilah would've rolled her eyes and curled her lip in disgust at, if it were anyone else.

But it was Lottie. Sweet Lottie, who Delilah couldn't help but stare at and narrow her eyes slightly. She allowed for her eyes to trail around the girl's face. Her gaze landed on the bandage stuck to the forehead of the sleeping beauty. It was messily applied, Misty's shaky work.

Sweet Lottie, who had just slammed her head against the window and gone crazy on them all.

Delilah pursed her lips, and glanced slightly above Lottie's head, her eyes falling further away from the two, setting on the tense interaction between Jackie and Shauna. She seemed to have caught Shauna the moment she huffed quietly and turned as if she were to fall asleep.

Only her eyes didn't close. They latched onto Delilah's through the tangled limbs of the other girls and over the head of the sleeping Lottie.

Not breaking the eye contact, Delilah blinked slowly. She watched as Shauna's jaw clenched, before the girl's nose twitched and she shuffled about. She kicked the blankets off her and moved to stand.

Jackie's hand slipped to grab at Shauna's forearm, stopping her. "Where are you going?" She asked quietly. Shauna looked down as she leant back on her arms, and then glanced back to Delilah, who had already gone back to doing another once over Lottie's face.

"Toilet. Am I allowed?" Shauna teased, sensing the tension was still there from their little spat. Jackie hummed, letting her hand fall off the girl's arm and moving so she was facing Shauna fully. "Don't be too long, it's cold out there."

"It isn't that cold." Shauna murmured, already putting her converse back on. Jackie sighed from behind her, looking at the figure of her best friend from behind as she sat up fully. "I'll take your word for it."
