IF JACKIE wanted to speak about what happened, she didn't show it. Delilah had been unsure at first that when they got back, Jackie would even want to speak to her at all. Really, Delilah was surpised that she kept it all to herself at all, and didn't immediately spew out yells that everyone should shun Delilah from the cabin for her betrayal.

Instead, Jackie seemed to not want to leave Delilah alone at all. The moment the two got back to the cabin, Jackie sniffling still and wiping her eyes every so often, Delilah had made her way to her bed. The main room was quiet and everyone else had gone to bed.

She settled down, pulling her shirt off and replacing it with a tank top, and turned, seeing Jackie standing there looking at her with her wide eyes, clutching her bedding. Delilah furrowed her brows, crossing her arms.

"What's up?" She whispered. Jackie looked her up and down. Delilah was slowly loosing her princess-like appearance, and to Jackie, it seemed like she was starting to embrace the hard work and labour life. She looked weirdly masculine at that point, and that only made Jackie swallow harsher.

"I'm sleeping beside you," said Jackie, shrugging. Without another word, she walked over and set her stuff down, and buried herself under her covers, patting the space next to her and looking up at Delilah, who blinked, before sitting.

In silence, they shuffled to get comfier, and Jackie found herself moving to lay in the gap between Delilah's outstretched arm and her curled legs. She looked up.

"What are you doing?" Delilah muttered quietly, meeting her gaze.

Jackie narrowed her eyes, a small frown growing on her face, "I'm sorry. Do you not want me to sleep with you?"

"I mean-"

"Cause I didn't know you were able to refuse offers like that," said Jackie, her eyes suddenly way too wide and blinking, pouting. "You can go upstairs to the attic, if you want?"

Delilah didn't reply, her jaw clenching. She wasn't going to let Jackie get away with being a bitch, not ever. But at that moment, she couldn't find it in herself to retort anything worse, understanding unfortunately just how hurt Jackie was.

"Why would I want to do that?" she said through gritted teeth. Jackie shuffled closer, her hand reaching up and brushing against Delilah's bare arm.

"Hm," she hummed, "I'm glad we're on the same page."

With that, the two fell asleep in each others arms, moving in their own unconsciousness further towards the other, and soon, when morning came, and Shauna went downstairs, she saw their position and wondered what had happened.
