The following night, Leva left without a trace.

So, I didn't kill him? Why didn't I remember? I shook my head and stared out my window.

Rin and Yukio had quite a few extra rooms, so they let me use one whenever I needed to. (Just a heads up.)

I was so lost in my thoughts of Leva and my past that I didn't hear the gentle knock on my door.

"(Y/n)?"

I spaced out, as to the point to where my visitor slipped inside my room.

"(Y/n)?"

(Y/n)!

Echoes of Rin's voice and the past resonated in my mind.

Rin's POV

When I entered the room, I saw (y/n)'s figure sitting on her bed, staring out the window. She was wearing the necklace I got her, and the vial was firmly attached.

Her (e/c) eyes were dull, but sparkling with tears.

I sighed, then smiled.

Always crying, (y/n).

I came up behind her and carefully wrapped my arms over her shoulders.

"(Y/n). Why do you have to keep crying like this?"

"Vale was Leva. Leva was... No. Leva is my brother. Then he just leaves without a word." she said blankly.

"(Y/n)-" I felt her tense.

"Rin... You're gonna do that to me, aren't you? Just leave without saying a word?"

"Wha-"

"How did you fall in love with someone like me? A killer?" she looked at me, heartbroken, "Rin, Satan didn't kill my parents. Or my family. Or that waitress."

I looked away.

"I said it because you kept blaming yourself. I didn't know what else I could do to make you stop." I confessed.

Yes, I lied about this whole Satan thing. Satan didn't possess her in the first place.

She gently held her bandaged hand.

"I knew he didn't do it. What you said confused me, Rin. I didn't know what to believe." (y/n) whispered.

I moved to in front of her.

Then I lightly slipped my hand into her bandaged one.

"How did this happen?"

She winced, then looked into my eyes.

"I took Kurikara after you'd died, and stabbed my hand in an attempt to get you back."

Almost instinctively, I slapped her.

Her eyes widened in surprise.

"R-Rin?"

"Dammit, (y/n). Don't ever hurt yourself for me again."

"You either, you bastard!" she yelled, making me jump, "You died. I stabbed my hand. It's not the same, Rin."

"Well, I'm alive, aren't I?!"

"Because I brought you back, dammit, Rin!"

"(Y/n)! That doesn't mean you stab yourself!"

"I'll do what I want! Quit bossing me around!"

"I'm not! I'm trying to keep you safe and out of harm's way!"

"I'm always going to be in harm's way because I'm in love with the son of Satan!"

I froze, that statement ringing in my core.

Then my eyes flared.

"Do you really want to go there? Dammit, you know I didn't choose to be this way! I didn't choose to be the spawn of Satan!" I shouted, flames shooting from my body.

Her eyes narrowed. She opened her mouth to say something, and I was instantly sorry that I'd even started arguing with her. Tears ran down her cheeks.

I came in her to help her, and only hurt her more.

I have very bad news.
I think the next chapter will be the last one.
I'm so sorry.
I can't keep writing this story. I keep running out of ideas.
So I'm going to start another story soon.

Don't worry! There will be a part two of this! I promise.
I'm just running out of chapters that I had written and ready. Hell, I was in a rush to get this one done before midnight.
Alright~! One or two chapters left! Thank you for reading! Over 400?! Over four hundred reads?!?!?! Wow! Thank you for reading!
