I was above deck with the others, embracing the cold. I've always had a fondness for colder weather. Hoodies and sweatpants with a hot cup of tea and a good book; best way to spend a cold day hands-down. I was playing I spy with Jay, much to the annoyance (And my joy) Of others. Sensei was doing a pose at the nose of the ship. "I spy something... white."
"Snow?"
"You're too good at this."
"We should play a different game."
"What game?"
"Twenty questions, duh!"
"Could you two chatterboxes try and be quiet for once? This isn't easy."
"How about you shut it and let us have our fun?" I sassed. He rolled his eyes.
"Go play your game somewhere else and keep it down. I'm trying not to make us crash." I paused. The ship started to rock as we brushed against something. That sealed it for me.
"Fair enough." Jay groaned.
"I spy something broken." I laughed, and gave Jay a gentle shove. Kai seemed to be freezing; expected considering he's the master of fire.
"If sensei knows the way to the next golden weapon, why isn't he steering the ship? We've been drifting aimlessly for miles."
"He's old Kai. He can't control it as well as he once could."
"Sensei's wisdom is beyond my own. But y/n may be right."
"The most powerful move in spinjitzu can only be accomplished when all five elements are combined. Earth, ice, fire, lightning and life." He said coming down and showing us some moves.
"Uh, what happens when all of them are combined?" Jay asked.
"The tornado of creation." This was my first-time hearing about it, which was odd all things considered. "The power to create something out of nothing." Sensei said, using some sleight of hand to bring out a steaming teacup. Kai tried to recreate the moves, but sensei stopped him. "No Kai! If done incorrectly, it will lead to disastrous consequences." He warned.
"Disastrous consequences. Right." Kai sounded like he didn't really believe sensei, and I was about to call him out on that, when the ship bumped into a glacier. The sails froze at the impact.
"Uh... Wasn't me!" Cole said, trying to defend himself. I looked over, a playful glare on my face.
"Did I do that?" Doubt it.
"No. We are here." Sensei said, walking to the side of the boat.
We trudged through the snow, making our way to an icy mountain where no doubt, another dragon lay resting. As we walked in, there were a lot of frozen skeletons. "Woah. Looks like someone's already been here!"
"Let's hope we don't meet the same fate." I said, trying to be warning them. I think it came off that way? Not sure. We walked up to the shuriken, seeing them floating below the mouth of, you guessed it, another dragon.
"The shuriken's!" Zane said in awe. They were quite a ways off the grounds, and so we had to lift Zane. As soon as he came in contact, he froze. Literally!
The dragon mouth opened and the area started to come down on us. The four of us that were not frozen adjusted Zane, and we started to run. We were fast, but the dragon was faster, the only thing saving us here, was the fact that the dragon was too big to follow us out. With our momentum, we used Zane as a sled, all of us screaming, some in terror, some in joy. I was just hoping Zane wasn't suffocating too badly in that block of ice.
