dearest, do describe for me
how my absence feels.
for yours, to me, feels cold and empty
i feel soulless, without purpose,
cold, and brokenhearted.

winter without the joys of cold
is your absence to me.
dry, depressed, dangerous
is my life without your care.
so, this pain, this sorrow, i'll get rid of it.
i swear.

nothing would bring me more joy than to run into your arms again.
nothing could make me smile wider than to listen to your rants again.
these walls that separate us, they'll be torn down very soon.
i promise you, i will stand by you, and i shall close this wound.

i will bring us back together, by words or by force.
you will be the light of my life again, a bright, flaming torch.
we will never be torn apart again. never in this lifetime.
i promise you, my soulmate, you will always be my lifeline.
