Their date was wrapping up. It was Wednesday night, he had an assignment to complete the next couple of days and another catering job Saturday night so they had to do a weekday date - this was safer anyway in his eyes. She would have work the next day so was unlikely to want to stay out late.
They'd had a lovely evening at a Vietnamese restaurant. He had wanted to pay and he knew he could afford feeding two at his favourite place. The owners loved him so they always gave him appetizers for free. They had been very happy to see him there on a date and had doted on them especially. Jennifer had been thoroughly charmed.
They were walking down the street, towards a park, not ready yet to stop talking. It had been easy to be with her. They were very compatible. And before a week ago she had been his idea of perfection. God I'm horrible, he thought.
"It's getting pretty late," she said softly, taking his hand.
He nodded. "I'm in walking distance- can I order you a ride?" He knew roughly where she lived - he could still afford that. He hadn't spent much of that extra hundred dollars- he was happy to spend it on this night. He felt guilty being here. Guilty because he couldn't stop thinking about someone else.
"That'd be great," she said, but she sounded disappointed. So she had wanted to... he wasn't going to go there yet. He remembered what it had been like with Sian- an absolute disaster. Shit. He just realised that he hadn't had sex with anyone else in months yet he had had no problems with his vixen.
He had Jennifer put her address into his app. She did it happily and he wondered if she thought it was a move. They had about a ten minute wait so they sat on a park bench and chatted some more. Now that they were out in the elements and no longer walking, the night air chill hit them.
"Brrr...." Jennifer uttered.
Beau immediately took off his hoodie and gave it to her. She gave him a very hot look as she let him slip it on her. He could feel she wanted to be kissed but he didn't do it. He should have- he saw her disappointment.
He got the alert that the car was approaching. Taking her hand he stood then up and walked to the road.
"What's this?"
Beau turned to see what Jennifer was referring to. He froze, a look of horrible realisation coming onto his face. "It's not what it looks like."
She held the flimsy black material between her fingertips. It was very obvious what it was. It was her underwear. The ones he took. He hadn't worn or washed that hoodie since that night.
"Well it looks like you have someone's destroyed panties in your pocket."
"Okay, well, it is what it looks like- but it's from before you and I decided to go on this date."
"Hmmmm," she mulled that over, scrutinising the damage.
He quickly reached forward and took it from her. He should throw them away. There would be a bin around here, but instead he placed them into his jean pocket.
He went back to looking out for the ride share car. He really fucked this, didn't he?
He felt Jennifer come up behind him. "You into that?"
"Huh?" He asked, confused.
"Rough stuff?" Her voice was low and Beau suspected she was asking not because she was worried he was.
"Ah... sort of, um, she was kinda into it."
"You like rough stuff on you?"
He turned around to look at her. She blushed slightly. "Do you want to do rough stuff to me?"
