Shivaay woke up to hear laughter coming from downstairs. He ran his hands through his hair, adjusting the strands. He walked downstairs yawning into his hands. He stretched slightly, but stopping midway when every eye turned to him. He was curious.

"What's happening guys?" He asked. Today was a day off, then why is everyone up so early. He looked beyond and his eyes widened seeing the Senior Trivedi couple in the lobby of the mansion. Rudra was talking to Harsh while Om and Annika were busy with Sudha. The elder Kalyani Singh Oberoi sat at the edge of the couch silently.

"Mr and Mrs. Trivedi." He went to greet them. His eyes widened slightly. Sudha smiled brightly taking him in her arms. She smiled at him, "You look so thin. Don't you eat enough? Annika, does he?" She asked as she pinched his cheeks.

Om and Rudra giggled slightly. Shivaay was embarassed, he didn't know how to react. "Oh, don't bother. Mum is like this only, we all got our earfuls, it's your turn now." His eyes widened.

"Oh, shut up. I would never scold him." Sudha cooed. Harsh laughed. "Bachhe ko saans to lene do." Sudha let go of him. He smiled and sat beside Annika.

"I know you're surprised. But trust me I am as much as you are. Om had called them here." Annika leaned in to whisper in his ear. Shivaay hummed lowly. "You look good. Slept well?" She asked as she threaded her fingers through his hair. He closed his eyes with a sigh. "Yeah, thank you." He whispered, she only smiled in return.

They were unaware of the looks the other were sending him. Kalyani cleared her throat and Shivaay immediately turned to her oblivious of the reason. "Yes, dadi?" He asked, his voice sounded too innocent that Om couldn't control himself from laughing. Seeing him Harsh couldn't hold back until he saw Sudha's glare towards him.

"Well, then. Resume your sleep kids. We will check in the hotel and freshen up slightly." Shivaay frowned. "Why hotel? You are staying here right?" He asked not really getting the point, why they will be staying in a hotel when he owned a Mansion itself.

"That's so sweet of you, Shivaay. But it's fine we will manage. Don't worry." Harsh smiled, but Shivaay had another plans he had already called the servants to take their luggage to the guest rooms. Kalyani watched all this with pursed lips. The Trivedi couple shared a look. Annika understood it.

"Shivaay, it's okay, looks like mum and dad have already paid. It's fine." Shivaay frowned at Annika, she just looked at him and he sighed. "Alright, with whatever you are comfortable." He spoke at the end.

"But do join us for the breakfast." He asked. The couple nodded and bid farewell.

"Fancy a walk in the garden?" He asked when everyone returned to their room. She turned to look at him curiously. "Sure." She answered.

They walked outside, the air was cool and carried a good amount of moisture. They simply strolled and laughed, it was mostly her laughing. Shivaay told the most funniest jokes with a straight face, it made her laugh harder. Shivaay looked at her.

How her lips streched into a beautiful smile, her pearly white teeth showing. Her laugh and giggles ringing in the air. He added a few lines, he didn't want that smile to wipe off. It was his reason of joy.

"Shivaay?" He turned.

"Come, I need to show you something." They reached the centre of the garden where a tree was planted. He raised his hands and snapped his fingers and whistled in low voice. She was confused at what he was doing. And to her surprise, two parrots flew into his arms. Shivaay chuckled and showed her.

She yelped when he pirched the bird onto her arm. "Relax, they won't do anything." He assured her. "Are they yours?" She asked. He shook his head. "They usually come here." Shivaay said pointing at the tree. She nodded. The birds hopped back on to his arm. They nipped at his fingers, it looks as if they were playing with him.
