"I hope you realise how much of an inconvenience this is for me'' I said as Charles and I sat in his car on the way to the airport.
It was Wednesday evening and after spending the whole day yesterday arguing with Charles about this fake relationship, we finally came to an agreement. We agreed that we would be affectionate when cameras were on us but there was to be no kissing and we could date other people on the down low if we wanted.
"Do you ever stop complaining'' Charles said as he looked at me from the drivers seat of his Ferrari. He was wearing the same Ferrari suit that he was wearing when we first met at this very airport. Nice Côte d'Azur.
"Keep your eyes on the road leclerc, before you get us both killed'' I said before grabbing his chin and moving his head so he was looking at the road.
"I'm well able to drive, Smith, you'll see that when I win this weekend'' he said with a confident look on his face.
"You're humble'' I said sarcastically as Charles pulled into the public car park of the airport. "You're just going to leave your Ferrari here? It could get broken into" I said while looking around at the other cheaper looking cars.
"Relax ma chérie, I could buy about 10 more of these cars with the amount of money I make in a year'' he winked as he got out of the car and opened my door for me. My only response was to roll my eyes.
"I've hired some people to take pictures of us, so Atleast look like you're in love with me'' Charles informed me as he helped me out of the car and handed me my bag.
We would only be in Miami for about a week so I didn't pack much but I made sure to pack some bikinis as I didn't want to have to swim in my bra and underwear like the other day on the boat.
The dynamic between Charles and I had changed drastically since we agreed on the terms of the fake relationship. Our dynamic has gone from friendly to more of a forced and hostile environment. Well that's what I expected as we are being forced to act like we couldn't keep our hands off of eachother.
Charles and I had begun to walk towards the entrance of the airport and people started to recognise Charles, which wasn't surprising due to his Ferrari suit. He signed a few autographs before the people he had hired started to take our pictures. I wasn't used to the flashing cameras and Charles realised this and bent down to whisper in my ear.
"Can I hold your hand belle?" (beautiful) Charles whispered And I couldn't help but blush as I felt his breath on my neck.
I didn't answer I just grabbed his hand and entertwined my fingers with his and continued walking, trying not to show him how his words made me feel. I glanced up at him and he too had started blushing and had a small smile on his face. When he noticed me looking at him, he turned his head the other way and waved to the cameras.
We had finally made it to his private jet after being stopped by about 20 fans who were gushing over Charles. Of course he kindly stopped and signed their merch and took pictures with them. He really seemed to love his fans and you could see this by the expression on his face when he conversed with them. I could only admire the patience and respect he had for these people he had never met.
I sat across from Charles and pulled out my phone and went to the camera app.
"Pose" I said before taking an unexpected picture of him. I had attempted to take a funny picture of him but he only ended up looking breath taking in it as per usual.
"What are you doing?" He said and went to grab my phone out of my hands but not before I could grab his wrist and push it away.
"I'm hard launching us" I giggled as I edited the picture on instagram.
"Hard launching?'' He questioned as he scrunched his eyebrows together and sat in the seat beside me before looking into my phone.
"You don't know what hard launching is? You're such a middle aged man" I laughed as he crossed his arms and frowned.
"I am not, stop being mean and just tell me what it is'' he said with a pleading look in his eyes.
"It's just confirming our relationship, you're going to have to post me if you want people to find out about us'' I said gesturing towards his phone without taking my eyes off of mine.
"Fine but you better post a good picture of me'' he huffed taking out his phone and searching up my name. "Oh wow, I've never looked so good" he laughed admiring himself before reposting my post to his story.
"Debatable" I said rolling my eyes and turning my phone off. I suddenly felt a wave of exhaustion come over me and I turned my phone on silent so I wouldn't be disturbed by the notifications that were expected.

23:47 I was woken up to the sound of a camera clicking and the turbulence from the plane. I rubbed my eyes and looked around just to find Charles grinning down at a picture on his phone. I didn't think anything of it until we had landed and were in a car that was taking us to the hotel when I opened instagram to find this.
