It's been a couple weeks since the CDC happened and now we're on the move once again. Beau has been traveling with my family, Carol, Sophia and I in the station wagon from the main camp. Right now I sat sitting in Beau's back as we sat in the trunk of the car my fingers running through his hair, "Comfy?" I asked him. "A little bit." He rubbed my leg tho in a soothing way the car came to a stop which we got out confused, "What's the problem?" I asked. "RV stopped." Dad said.
We all got out of our vehicles. We all went to the RV, "I said it didn't I say it?" Dale said to us as we all grouped around. "Problem Dale?" Shane asked him. Dale looked at him, "RV break again?" "No we stopped for shits and giggles." Beau said. "You think you're funny." Beau looked up and made a face, "I think I am adorable."

"Listen here you..." "Shane knock it off." Rick said. "Babe chill." I said. Beau held his hands up in surrender, "Just a small matter of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no hope of..." Dale went off when I turned looking at the middle or I guess oldest Dixon brother. "What are you doing Daryl?" I asked. "Shit." He said.
"Well if it matters at least we could find one here on the highway." I said. Dale nodded, "How about you look for that and we all look for stuff." I said. "Good idea we've used up a lot of stuff in the past few days." Dad said. "I can siphon more fuel from these cars for a start." T-dog mentioned. "Maybe some water or food." Carol muttered. I looked around, "I don't know how I feel about this it's a graveyard." Mom said. "We have to get supplies tho." I said. She nodded not really happy but off everyone went.
I walked over to a car trying to get a look inside when hands where on my waist, "Find anything." Beau's voice was heard. I jumped into Beau's arms, "Don't do that asshole." I said. He laughed, "You loved it." We went digging through the car trying to find new clothes, "Oh come here Beau." I said seeing a flannel jacket he could wear in winter. "What?" He asked. "Try this on." I said. "Why?" He asked taking off his jacket he has on right now. "Because I said so." He mocked me as he put it on, "How's it feels?" I asked. "Nice actually." He said. He took it off, "Hey look a matching one." He said showing me. I tried it on, "That looks good on you." Beau said as we looked at ourselves in the window.
"Ew you two are matching." Glenn said from across the highway. Beau flipped him off which Glenn busted out laughing. Glenn, mine and Beau's friends has only ever grown but he's like our child because he's our third wheel. I turned to see dad running over, "Under the cars." He said. Beau and I did exactly as he said to do climbing under the car.
Beau looked at me as did I, "What's going on?" I mouthed. He shrugged when I saw a bunch of feet slowly trudging across. I looked at Beau which he saw as well and pulled me close to him. I looked to my brother, my father, and mother. I could see them looking at me as well. I haven't seen so many walkers before and never even heard of them traveling in such big groups like this or so many dead bodies not even at camp or The CDC.
I kept looking at my family and looked to Sophia and held a finger to my mouth telling her to be quiet. She just nodded as I looked to my little brother who was looking at Beau and I. Beau told Carl it would be okay in a way they two came up with while we traveled together which Carl did the okay back. I looked to my mom to see the fear in her eyes as she looked at me, "It's okay." I mouthed to her. She just nodded also holding in a sob.
I looked to my dad the two of us just nodding as if he was asking me if I was okay and mine was the yeah. I heard someone moving out from under a car and saw Sophia I went to crawl out to get her as she caught the attention of a walker but Beau held me tightly to him.
Dad took off running after her which Beau let me out now, "Dad." I said. "Stay here keep everyone together." He said. I nodded, "Alli go help him please my baby there's two walkers after my baby." Carol cried as mom held onto her. "I know Carol but everything's going to be okay." I said to her softly.
It had been about thirty minutes maybe forty when dad came back but with no Sophia, "Where's Sophia?" Dad asked. Carol let out a sob and dad looked at Shane and I, "She didn't come back." Shane said. "She's not back?" Dad asked. I shook my head he put his hands on his head starting to panic, "Hey Carol it's okay we'll stay here." I said to her.
I looked at everyone, "We will go looking for her." I said. I was not going to accept another one of us to be gone, "Dad, Daryl, Glenn and I will go see where she went." I said looking at everyone. "Beau you help everyone gather supplies we need as much as we can." I said. Beau nodded, "Maybe move a few of these cars out of the way so we can get going when we find Sophia." I said. "Alright darlin'." Beau said. "Who put you in charge?" Shane asked. "Okay Shane what do you think we should do then?" I asked him annoyed. "Your ideas good." I nodded a thanks, "But you boy toy isn't my boss." Shane said. "Shane..." "No, no, no it's fine come on everyone let's go see what we can find." Beau said.
Mom walked over to me, "I'll be fine I've got dad, Daryl and Glenn." I said as she put her hands on my face. "Look at you knowing exactly what your dad would do." She said. I smiled and winked as she went to find clothes as me, dad, Glenn and Daryl went to find Sophia.
