We were driving a long when Rick said we should pull over to plan our next move. We stopped, "Mom?" Alli asked. Lori hummed, "You okay?" "Fine just cold." Alli opened her bag and got a blanket out as I grabbed a pillow for Lori, "Here." I said handing Lori a pillow. "Thank you." She said as Alli covered Lori up. "Better?" Alli asked. She nodded I also grabbed the crackers handing them to Lori also, "Eat some I've got more." I said which she nodded.
Alli and I walked to Rick as the group dispersed, "We miss anything?" I asked. "Same as always." Rick said. "I don't know how much longer mom can take." Alli said to Rick as Hershel stood near. "She's right." Hershel said. "I don't know what else to do give birth on the run?" Rick asked. "Do you see a way around that?" Hershel asked. "Feels like Carl all over again." Alli said. "Yet you were so anxious." Rick said. "I think it may be my ADHD thanks by the way." Rick chuckled, "You're welcome." Rick said.
"Hey Grimes Sr, Jr., Loverboy let's go hunt." Daryl said loading his crossbow. "What owl wasn't good enough?" I teased him. "I told you to have some crackers bitch." I said. "Fuck you and your damn crackers." He said. Alli shook her head laughing at Daryl and I.
"Where are you going?" Lori asked as we got to the truck. "Hunting." I said. "You're going to?" Lori asked Alli scared. "Mom I'll be fine I've got dad, Daryl and Beau. I promise I'll be back." Alli stated giving her mom a squeeze on the hand.
We walked into the wood walking along some train tracks. We were crossing over a little creek when there was moaning. I walked forward to see an old prison, "Looks like they're contained." I said. "Yeah let's keep moving." Daryl said. "Shame right Al." I said. She didn't answer when I looked back at my girlfriend who was looking at the prison then her dad, "I think we just found a place to lay low." Rick said. "Excuse." I said walking over as did Daryl. "We take that place think about it." Alli stated. "Fenced someone on guard what more could we want?" She asked. "If you die I am blaming your dad." I said. "Fair." Rick said. "Let's go get the others." Alli stated.

Rick cut a hole into the fence which we climbed into and once Rick was inside we zip tied the fence back up. We jogged through the gated area between the outside and main yard going to the main entrance, "It's perfect." Rick spoke up looking at the field, "If we can shut that gate prevent more from filling the yard we can pick these walkers off, we'll take the field by night." Rick explained. "But how do we shut the gate?" Hershel asked. "I'll do it." Alli said. I looked at my girlfriend like she is crazy.
"I'm fast I'll be able to get in shut the hate then get into the tower to safety." "No, it's dangerous." Alli looked at me annoyed. "He's right it's a suicide run." Maggie said. "There's no other option I am the fastest." Alli stated looking at her dad.
Rick sighed as Lori and I glared at him, "Glenn, Maggie, Beth, Hershel draw as many as you can over there, pop 'em through the fence." Rick spoke. "Daryl go back to the other tower. Carol you've become a pretty good shot take your time we don't have a lot of ammo to waste. Beau you and Carl take this tower." He stated. Carl looked at me with a smile, "Alli and I will run for the gate." He said. I looked at Rick when I felt someone kiss my cheek and looked at my girlfriend, "Be careful." I said. "I love you." "Yeah I love you." I said and grabbed Carl getting into position.
I saw Lori hug Alli for a long time, "Alli's going to be okay right?" Carl asked me. "You kidding not even a bullet could kill your sister. Plus have you seen when she's with your dad unstoppable duo." I said. He nodded when I saw Lori open the gate, "Cover 'em." I said. "Got it." I took shots watching the father daughter duo's back as Rick clear a path for Alli. "You've got this Al." I muttered under my breath as if she could hear me.
Alli stopped and looked at the tower Carol and Daryl where at, "Sorry!" Carol called. I shot the walker who was almost to close for comfort as I sent my arrow towards the walker's head. Alli looked back at me nodding as she took off again.
She got to the gate and kicked a walker back then clipped the fence as Rick ripped open the tower door Alli ran inside, "She did it!" Carl cheered. "Light it up!" Daryl and I yelled. I looked at the tower across from me to see Alli and Rick shooting. I could see a proud look on Rick's face as Alli shot the last walker the yard cleared.
We all met in the yard, "Alli!" Carl cheered running over to his sister. He hugged her tight which Alli hugged him back, "You weren't worried for me where you Carl?" Alli asked. "Yes what would I do without you?" Carl asked. "You'd figure it out." Lori smacked Alli on the back of the head, "Ouch." Alli said. "Don't ever do that again." Lori said pointing at her daughter. Alli looked to her dad for help, "Only if Beau or I are with ya." Rick said. "Thank you." Alli said.
I walked over and kissed her quick, "Don't do that again anytime soon okay?" I asked. "Okay." Alli said her hands on my face. "Hey love birds." Daryl said. We looked at him, "Glad see you're okay little Grimes." Daryl said to Alli. "Aw D were your worried?" Alli asked. Daryl just looked at her then walked away, "In Daryl terms that's yes." I said. Alli giggled as I kissed her head, "You good?" I asked Rick who just nodded looking at the prison already planning the next move.
