Beau's POV

We all stood outside the barn where everyone could hear the groans and moans of the walkers and just from the sounds there were more than a couple there. Shane was the first to peak through the small crack of the barn and jumped back quickly.

He turned back to all of us and stormed over to Rick, "You cannot tell me you're alright with this." Shane said to him. "No I'm not." Rick answered. "But we're guests here." Rick stated. "Oh God this is our lives, man!" Shane complained as he looked towards Alli and Carl. I stood closer to my girlfriend my arm around her shoulders. I don't like Shane and I know for sure Daryl doesn't ever since the camp got overrun and he didn't do anything to help Alli. I don't know how Rick can't see how much of a danger Shane is to the whole group.

"We can't just sweep this under the rug." Lori voiced out not liking the fact that her kids were in danger. "It ain't right. No remote we either gotta go in there, we gotta make things right or we just gotta go." Alli looked at her parents then to me knowing that it wasn't safe for Lori to be out there pregnant. "Now we have been talking about Fort Benning for a long time..." Shane was saying. "We can't go." Alli said. "Why can't we Al?" Alli stood there thinking, "She's still healing you dumb ass. We're not about to have Alli hurt again." I said. "She'll be fine you've been with her watched..." "I am not a doctor I won't know what to do."

"Also my daughter's still out there." Carol spoke up. "Okay." Shane sighed. "Shane." Alli said in a warning tone.  "What Alli I think it's time that we all start to just consider the other possibility." Shane said. "Shane we're not leaving Sophia behind." Rick defended the mother. "I'm close to finding this girl." Daryl jumped in angry that he has been searching non-stop since we first arrived at the farm. "I just found her damn doll the other day." "You found a doll Daryl that's what you did." Shane scoffed at my brother. "It's a positive sign she could still be out there tho." I defended my brother. "He found a doll!" He shouted. "You don't know what the hell you're talking about!" Daryl shouted back.

I stepped between Shane and my brother so this whole situation wouldn't get out of hand. Shane ranted on and on about Sophia as I looked at Carol who had tears in her eyes. Alli hugged Carol, "Shane shut the fuck up!" Alli yelled. "You better watch your mouth girly." Shane said stepping up to Alli when I pushed him back. "Step towards her again I knock you on your ass." I said in a stern voice. He looked at me, "Why do you care you're a bastard kid anyway who parents didn't want him." Shane said. I saw red all of a sudden and punched him across the face. He stood up looking at me, "Swing at me better be sure I go on the ground." I said.

Shane punched me quickly then pushed me to the ground when Rick grabbed him, "Knock it off we are guest here. Hershel's farm his rules." Alli said. Everyone looked at her then she nodded to her dad, "If we're gonna stay if we're gonna clear this barn I have to talk him into it." Rick explained keeping calm and cool. "Just like Alli said his land his rules." Everyone looked at the father, daughter duo as I stood next to Lori.

"Hershel sees those things in there as people sick people." Dale spoke up. We looked at him, "His wife, h-h-his son." "You knew?" I asked him shocked as saw the look on Rick and Lori's faces the both knowing they also almost had the same thing happen to them. "Yesterday I talk to Hershel." Dale explained. "And you waited the night?" Shane asked in a judging tone. "I thought we could survive one more night." Dale defended himself. "We did tho." I said. "I was waiting until this morning to say something but Glenn wanted to be the one." Shane started yelling once again causing the walkers in the barn to snarl and groan as they came to the barn door.

It's been a few hours now Alli and I were sitting on the porch me frustrated with Daryl as he was getting ready to go out again. Alli watched Shane closely from a  distance as he once again paced in front of the barn, "That's his fifth time pacing in front of the barn." I said. "Seventh when you and Daryl were arguing he went around twice more." Alli said.

"Hey." Beth said walking out. "Hey Beth." Alli said. "Do you know where my dad is?" She asked. "He and my dad went out to the woods with some equipment that looked like you use to catch animals with." Alli said. I looked back at her confused, "Seriously?" Alli nodded, "I don't have a good feeling." "About our dads or Shane?" Beth said. "Both."

I stood behind Alli now and kissed her head, "Shane's changed I'd like to say for the greater good but I know it's not. Dad he's trying to do what he thinks is right." Alli said. "What do you think is right?" I asked. "I don't know." Alli mumbled. I rubbed her arms as she leaned into me, "I love you." I said. "Love you too." Alli said. Maggie and Glenn walked over sitting on the porch as well the two of them acting really close. Glenn looked at me which I sent him a wink knowing he likes the Greene girl. He sent me a glare and looked to Alli for help but she just winked too.

"What are you going to do about Shane?" Glenn asked. "Why me?" Alli asked. "You're a mini Rick." Daryl said. I looked up as I saw Shane walking over with the gun bag, "What the fuck." I said. Everyone looked at him, "Shane." Alli said walking down. "What's this?" She asked. "Doing what needs to be done." He said.

He tossed Daryl a gun then me, "Time to grow up." He said looking at Alli. "No Shane my dad is handling it." Alli said. "So am I." He said. "Where's Dale?" Andrea asked. "What does she mean?" Alli asked alarmed. "He's on his way." Shane replied. "I thought we couldn't carry." T-dog voiced out. Shane gave a speech on protecting the whole group, "You do this you hand out these guns my dad will make you leave tonight." Maggie told Shane. "Shane she's right we have to stay." Alli said.

Lori walked over, "What's going on?" "We ain't going anywhere okay?" Shane ignored the two Grimes woman. He grabbed a gun for Carl, "Now I want you to take this keep your mother safe. You do whatever it takes you know how..." Shane was saying when Alli snatched the gun from Carl. I pushed the two behind me which went to Lori, "Rick said no guns." I said standing besides my girlfriend's dad. "This is not your call. This is not your decision." Lori stated. Everyone looked at the two as you could just feel the tension between all of them.

"Oh shit." T-dog mumbled. We all turned to see Rick and Hershel bringing two walkers back on leads like a couple animals back to the barn. Shane took off running a Alli following yelling his name. Daryl and I shortly after actually the whole group, "What the hell are you doing!" Shane yelled. "Shane just back off." Rick replied. "Why do your people have guns?" Hershel asked seeing almost all of us having a gun on us.

Shane started freaking out, "Hey Hershel man let me ask you something." Shane said pacing in front of the two. "Could a living breathing person walk away from this." Shane said shooting the walker Hershel held onto making everyone jump. "That's three rounds in the chest could someone who's alive could they just take that?" Rick pleaded with Shane but Shane just took more shots, "That's it's heart, it's lungs! Why is it still coming!" "Shane enough!" Rick yelled. "Ey you right man that is enough." Shane said walking up to Hershel's walker and shooting it in the head.

Hershel dropped to his knees, "Enough risking our lives for a little girl who's gone!" Shane yelled. Alli and I turned as we heard Carol let out a sob, "Enough living next to a barn full of things that are trying to kill us! Enough!" Shane turned to Rick, "Rick it ain't like it as before." He said walking to him but I stood in front of Rick. "Now if y'all wanna live if you wanna survive you gotta fight for it!" He yelled then made a beeline for the barn door.

Rick pleaded with Hershel to take the walker but was frozen, "Shane don't do it!" Alli yelled. Shane opened the doors and everyone sprung into action, "Carl go to mom." Alli said which he did. Alli looked to her mom who gave her a nod okay and we went to help. Shane was to busy shooting as I turned to Rick and shot the walker he had on the lead. Rick nodded to me as and just then the shooting stopped. Alli put her gun away and turned to her dad with an sorry look but he didn't look at her mad.

There was a small groan from the last walker. We all turned again but everyone soon lowered their weapons as it was a twist no one could've saw coming. Sophia came out when I heard Alli let out a sob. I grabbed a hold of her as I knew Sophia was like a sister to Alli everyone stood their stunned. Carol came running to her daughter but Daryl grabbed her holding her back.

No one moved for a while I let Alli go as I grabbed her pistol to put Sophia down when someone pushed me back to her as I saw Rick walking forward. He walked right up to the girl as a single shot to the head put her down ending the search for her.
