Alli's POV

It was nighttime now and are eating some squirrel we had from earlier, "Hmm just like mom used to make." Glenn said being sarcastic. We chuckled at him as he threw the bone off into the distance. I ate a little bit then handed some to mom so she could eat which she took. I looked off to dad who was doing his third pace down the fence, "That's his third time around. If there was any part of it compromised he would've found it by now." Hershel pointed out to the group.

"He's planning ahead is what he's doing." Beau said. "How do you know?" I asked. "Cause you do that you pace just like him when you're planning the next move." "I don't." "Yes you do." Mom, Carl and Glen said. Everyone laughed softly, "This'll be a nice place to have the baby." Beth said to mom. "Safe." Mom nodded.

I looked at my father then over to my mom and went to get up when someone grabbed me quick, "Beau Jason..." I was saying. "Alexandra Marie you will sit with us and not go bother your dad." Beau said. "I wasn't." I said. "Okay you're not going to start pacing then." I rolled my eyes as he held me close to him as Beth started signing I relaxed into my boyfriend's arms.

Someone couched down next to us as I saw my dad now over, "Better all turn in." He grumbled. "I'll take watch we've got a big day tomorrow." "What do you mean?" Glen asked. Dad looked down then back up at the group, "Look I know we're all exhausted, this was a great win...." "Spit it out dad." I said. He looked at me like I just read his mind, "We're pushing inside aren't we?" He looked at me then everyone else nodding.

"Most of the walkers are dressed as guards and prisoners. Looks like this place fell early so it could mean the supplies are intact." Dad stated. "Actual food?" Carl asked. Dad nodded and listed a few things, "Armory?" Daryl asked. "That would be outside the prison but not far away. Warden's offices would have the location." Dad said. "Weapons, food, medicine this place could be a gold mine." "We're dangerously low on ammo we'd run out before we make a dent." "That's why we have to go in there." Dad stated. "Hand to hand."

I took a deep breath looking at the group then the fire, "After all we've been through, we can handle it I know it." Carl was next to me his head in my lap. Dad looked at the two of us, "These assholes don't stand a chance." Carl smiled softly as I snickered. Dad got up walking away, "Did he eat?" Beau asked. "No." Carl said. "He hasn't since a few days ago." I stood up grabbing some food for him, "Just going to give him food I'll be back." I said. Beau nodded as I walked over to dad.

"Hey." I said jogging over. He stopped and looked at me, "Brought you something to eat." I said holding him some squirrel Daryl and Beau caught. "I am fine Bear you eat." "I did Carl told me you haven't ate in a few days." He looked at me, "Please." He took the food, "God you're stubborn." He mumbled. "Like father like daughter as the saying goes." He nodded when mom walked over. "Go back to the group." Mom said. "I am making sure dad eats." I said. "Go get water." I nodded walking back looking down almost bumping into Daryl.

"Sorry." "You alright?" Daryl asked. I looked at him, "I am fine." Daryl looked at me then my parents then to Carl, "I know what it's like to have parents argue and protect the youngest. It's draining you need to take care of yourself before everyone else." Daryl said. "I just don't know what to do." "Go sleep you had a huge day today." I nodded, "Can you bring dad his water?" I asked. "You got mini Rick." "I am not a mini dad." I stated as he walked away which he chuckled.

I went back to the group and sat down, "You alright?" Beau asked. I nodded, "Just tired." He looked to where I was as dad walked off eating while mom walked back over to the group. He kissed my head, "Lay down we've got a busy day tomorrow." He said. I laid down him next to me as we went to sleep for another tiring day.
