As the morning light filtered through the curtains, Haein's resolve remained firm. With a sigh, she tore her gaze away from the mirror clad in a simple white dress.

She whispered to her reflection, her voice a mixture of anxiety and determination, "Calm down, girl. In a few hours, your dad will save you, and you won't get married for real."

Stepping out of the taxi, Haein faced the wedding venue, her heart racing with nervous excitement. Pulling out her phone, she began recording a message for her family, the anticipation evident in her voice.

"Hello, everyone! It's a beautiful afternoon, and today is extra special because... I'm getting married! Remember that guy, Jake, the mechanic who broke into our house? Well, he's my future husband now. Join us at 5 PM in front of the wedding venue, and if you can't make it, you're welcome to visit me at my husband's house, where I'll be living with his grandparents, his father, and, well, his entire family. Bye for now! xoxo."

Yeri watched the video with confusion, while Beomja's smile vanished, replaced by a look of concern. She rushed over to her brother, only to find him watching the video with a calm, calculated expression that unnerved her.

"Come on, Minho, we have to catch up to Haein and save her before she's shipped off to that family," she urged urgently.

"Fine, but why don't you go ahead? I'll get changed and be right back, okay?" his request puzzled Beomja. His clothes looked fine, so why waste time changing? Nevertheless, she left the room, her mind swirling with worry.

Haein made her way into the venue, she couldn't help but feel like she was walking into a lion's den. Haein immediately noticed the intense gazes of Jake's five family members seated in their chairs.

They were all glaring at her, except for Grandpa Taesoo and Jay. Haein sighed audibly as she walked, her eyes scanning the room nervously. When she neared her seat, Jake kindly pulled out the chair for her, but she simply rolled her eyes in response, her attention still darting around the room.

Amidst the whispers and gossiping between the grandparents, Sunja's voice cut through the air, "She doesn't look crazy?"

Taesoo nodded in agreement, adding, "Pity she's so beautiful."

Soomin couldn't resist rolling her eyes, retorting, "At least Juri has beauty and brains."

Seojun Jake's father simply sighed, a resigned expression on his face as if he'd seen it all before. Meanwhile, Jake couldn't contain his smirk, watching Haein's every move with amusement as she kept glancing towards the door, perhaps hoping for a last-minute escape.
