As we gazed around at the village around us, I was mesmerised; fairy lights clung loosely to the villas surrounding the path while trees hovered over them, fresh and green. A modern, grey fence bordered each villa, cornering them off from intruders.
Harry and Ethan were deep in conversation, while I just glanced at the buildings around us. I didn't even realise that I was still holding Harry's hand as his grip tightened around mine.
Suddenly, I felt a nudge on my shoulder; I turned around to face Harry and Ethan, who both clearly looked excited. "Nancy, why don't you come and be in some of our sidemen videos when we get back? I'm sure the others wouldn't mind and you did amazing in the last one.." Ethan glared into my eyes, awaiting an answer.
Without hesitation, my face lit up "sure, that sounds like a great idea. We have to check with the others first though." They both nodded.
We kept making our way along the path until the Sun began to set. Then, we began to change direction and head back. Suddenly, my phone began to ring, and as I reached down to grab it, I saw the name 'Simon' light up on my phone. As I answered, it, he sounded quite panicked. "Have you seen Laura anywhere? She's been missing for 2 hours now. All her stuff is gone and everything."
I felt panicked rush over me as I came to a halt, "what do you mean she's gone? She can't have just, you know, gone home or anything, right?" He sounded confused, until I eventually got an idea.
"Wait until I get back, then I'll help you find them, ok?"
Simon acknowledged me as he hung up. I turned to Ethan and Harry, shocked. "You don't think she's gone home or anything do you?" Harry suggested. That was when I came to realisation that maybe it was for the best if she left. Then, I could finally spend time with Harry, without her ruining everything.
"You know what, it doesn't matter if she has, why should I care? She didn't want to see me happy so why should I care if she isn't?" I shrugged my shoulders as a smirk crept upon Ethan's face. "And, you and Harry can actually spend time with each other now."
"Yeah...." We both shrugged awkwardly, exchanging a mischievous smile.
As we approached the villa again, I was welcomed by a more relaxed Simon and Josh, before Simon walked up to us all. "Apparently, she's gone home. She told Freya she was leaving." I didn't know how to react, until the others started jumping up and down screaming "GET IN!" I couldn't help but laugh.
Just as everyone calmed down, Jj walked in. "Right, everyone ready for dinner now?" We all nodded as we stood up, heading back towards the exit.

The rest of the night went quite smoothly: I managed to sit next to and actually enjoy spending time with Harry while we were at dinner, and we all had managed to go to a nearby pub afterwards and get drunk. Well, most of us. Me and Harry had actually diverted back to the villa, without even realising.
"What, so you actually got offered a contract to play for Man United women but turned it down?" Harry, practically shouting, smiled at me as we both headed up the stairs.
"Yeah..... I kinda didn't really have time for football. I used to play it a lot as a kid. Even got scouted by a few clubs." I shrugged as I followed him; he was heading directly towards his bedroom.
"That's insane, I'd have taken the contract, no matter what I had in my life. But, you know, at least you did what's best for you." I shrugged again, unsure of what to say.
Harry opened the door to his bedroom, allowing me to follow closely behind. We both headed straight towards the balcony, which hovered over the mountains which we skied on. "So, I know you do modelling and social media now, but who do you model for?"
I stood there, unsure of what to say. I hadn't actually been modelling for anyone in a long time. I just couldn't find a good brand to model for. "Well, I'm a free agent. I haven't actually modelled for anyone in a while. I'm looking for work." Suddenly, Harry's face lit up. "Why don't you model for our clothing brand, sidemen clothing? I'm sure you'd be good at that. Plus, you would get to see me practically everyday." He playfully winked at me as she nudged me on the shoulder.
I just rolled my eyes sarcastically before replying. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea, I'm in."
"Great" Harry spoke "when we get back il get it all sorted for you." He stood up, lifting his arms up from against the balcony.
"Thanks." I also stood up, turning to face Harry before pulling him into a hug. Something about his arms and his softness made me feel safe. His cologne travelled into my nose, making me feel more relaxed the more i breathed in.
As we pulled away, my eyes met with his, just staring and smiling at each other for a solid few seconds. Then, I felt him travel closer towards me as his lips interlocked with mine. I felt my arms travel to around his neck as his arms wrapped around my waist. I just couldn't let go. This was all I ever wanted. Those wattpad stories and Pinterest posts I'd been seeing had finally come to life.
As I pulled away, we exchanged a mischievous glance. "What do you wanna do now?" I asked sarcastically.
"You're going to find out" Harry replied as a smirk crept on his face. Then, he grabbed my wrist, leading me inside.
