Description- callie and y/n have been dating for a year and a half, y/n is a fire fighter and one day she gets caught in a fire and had to jump out a window to save herself and a 5 year old boy.

Y/n's pov-

"Andy! That hurts." I groaned when my friend was helping check me over, touching my arm that hurts like a bitch.

"Sorry, we're at the hospital." She smiled sadly as they got me out of the aid car and I could hear them telling someone about my injuries.

"Hey Bailey!" I smiled when I saw the woman who was at mine and Callie's only last night for a girls night with teddy, Yang and both greys.

"Oh someone page Dr Torres." She ordered a intern but I stopped them.

"No, no one pages her until we know I am ok." I groaned as we hit a slight bump.

"Y/n- you should let Callie know your here." She tried to reason but I just shook my head.

"I'll let you page her once I've had an X-ray and been check over okay?" I tried to make a deal so they wouldn't page her.

She was working on growing cartilage and it's important to her so I won't be the reason she's pulled away from it because I probably broke my arm.

"Fine." Bailey sighed as she wheeled me away to get checked.

"Okay, so you have an broken arm, a bruised rib and also a few cuts but only one needs stitches." Bailey confirmed as she looked at me with a pointed look. "Can I page Callie now?"

"Fine but do not do a 911 I don't want her to be panicked." I gave in knowing I'm probably already in trouble for not having them page her straight away. "So what's going to happen to my arm? Is it just a simple cast or am I going to need surgery on it?"

"I can't tell you anything right now but I've paged Callie's fellow to come check it out as Callie won't be allowed to." Bailey smiled and asked a nurse to get a suture kit. "I'll do it because if I let a intern do it Callie will kill me."

"No scar?" I asked as she got to work on stitching up the small gap between my collar bone and boob. "Cause I really need to look sexy for Callie to get myself out of trouble for not paging her straight away."

"You'll look good as new when I'm done don't worry." She laughed and suddenly the curtain was pulled open by a pissed off looking Callie.

"Why was I walking to consult did an intern tell me she hopes my girlfriend is okay?" Callie asked as she glared at me, her glare softening when she saw my arm.

"Surprise I'm the consult?" I joke and reach out for her with my good arm.

"You really are stupid." She laughed and walked over to kiss me. "Is she okay?"

"Other than a broken arm and a bruised rib she's fine." Bailey smiled and finished stitching me up. "When you come for your next check up with your arm come see me and I'll remove these."

"So I need a surgery to put the bone back in line with the other one then all I need is cast?" I asked Callie's fellow as I was laid on the hospital bed with Callie laid next to me on my good side as she held my hand tightly.

"Yeah, it's just where you landed on your arm while holding the kid your arm went out of pace so when the bone broke it's in the wrong place." The fellow explained before talking Callie through the surgery with confusing words I didn't understand.

"When will I be able to go back to work?" I asked when they were finished, cuddling into Callie more.

"You can go back in a week or two but would only be able to do desk duty or help in the aid car until your cast is off and you are cleared." Callie answered for him, knowing I would snap if I didn't like the Answer.

"How long until I will get the cast off and be cleared?"

"Maybe a month or two depending how quick the bone heals, the more you rest your arm the better it will heal, but I'll leave you to rest for now and I'll see you in an hour when it's time for your surgery." The fellow said before walking off.

"You are going to be watching him while he works right?" I asked as I looked up at her hopefully.

"I won't be allowed in but I've made sure Bailey will be there watching his every move my love, your in safe hands I've trained him myself." Callie cooed as she kissed my head gently.

"Will you take a day off and cuddle me while I'm off for two weeks?" I asked her not really wanting to be alone shut in our house for two weeks until I can go back to work.

"I'll see what I can do, how about we play uno while we wait?" Callie asked as she pulled some uno cards out her pocket. "I keep some on me for when the day's dragging along, keeps the residents from whining about being bored for a while."

"You Callie Torres are amazing but you are going to lose!" I smiled and watched as she moved to the end of the bed so she was now facing me.

"Wanna bet?"

I've been home for three days and I still have four to go before I'm allowed to go back to work and I'm losing my mind.

All i do is sit around the house restlessly until Callie comes back from work then I cling to her.

"Honey, I brought pizza!" Callie's voice called through the apartment making me jump up from the bed and run out of the bedroom to see her.

"I missed you!" I smiled and leaned up to kiss her gently before taking the wine out of her hand with my good one and walking ti the kitchen to grab us some glasses. "I was so bored while you were at work."

"Well it's a good thing I've took the next four days off to spend them with you isn't it?" She asked when I finally joined her back on the couch.

"Really?" I asked excitedly as I looked up her happy.

"Yeah, I would love to cuddle with you and just relax until we have to go back to work." She smiled and kissed me gently.

"Maybe I should get hurt in fires more often then if it gets me four days with you!" I joked as I leaned into her embrace.

"Don't you dare or I will lock you in this apartment and only let you out when I'm with you." She smiled and kissed me quickly.
