I saw Alina and Logan standing in the doorway A voice quickly shushed me whispering"Just keep your mouth shut." I nodded and turned to Dante
"Now that you've got me a bodyguard and a personal maid can I go now?" I asked.
"Of course, my dear Now that I have them watching over you, my mind is at ease." He walked into his room and closed the door behind him
I pulled Alina and Logan aside "What are you two doing here?" I asked
"Do you two know each other?" Alina asked
I sighed, looking at her"I don't have time to explain I need to go somewhere right now"
Logan opened the door for me and I got into the car As he drove I looked at him through the rearview mirror He was so handsome After a while we stopped in front of a small restaurant
"Who are you meeting at this tiny place?" Alina asked
"Just wait here I'll be back soon" I said getting out of the car
"Hell no you're going to run away again" Alina said and I smiled.
"Trust me I won't run away I just need to talk to someone, and I'll be back soon," I said They both nodded and I got out of the car.
As I entered the restaurant, I only saw Mr. Cassius, looking out the window. "Why would Elias choose such a weak vessel?" he said, staring at Alina through the window Then he turned to face me and his eyes were the same as my father's
I let out a deep sigh and sat across from him "Dad I need you to explain something to me"
"You mean about Calliope right? I already read your mind,"
"So, Dad, who is Calliope to you? She seems to know you well"
"She's my half-sister Her mother married my father and gave birth to me so we're both born from the same mother, but different fathers. My father is the king of the Dark World, while her father was from the human world He died, and then my mother returned to the Dark World to marry my father."
"That means Calliope is a nice person, and we're related, too, since she has powers like me"
"Don't be naive Imogen Calliope is a devil Why is she in the human world?"
