It was Logan He entered and grabbed Jasper by his collar He hit him so hard, and started punching him "You animal!" he yelled as he kept punching him I got up and put on my clothes properly

"Logan let him go" I said Logan kept hitting him

"Logan please stop" I screamed He released him His face was disfigured and he was bleeding

"I'll tell my dad You're all in trouble!" he said and he rushed out.

"Are you okay?" Logan asked me

"I'm fine But how did you know I was in danger?"

"I saw your door unlocked, so I came in" he said I sighed and sat on the bed

"Thank you,"

"You're welcome You should get some sleep I'll guard you" he said I lay down on the bed and he covered me with the blanket He took a chair and sat behind me

"Can you read me a novel?" I asked

"Oh, right" he said, and he started reading a novel to me I fell asleep

The next morning I was just waking up when Aurora rushed to me"Imogen you need to come downstairs right now," she said

"Why? What's going on?" I asked but instead of answering, she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room I saw Calliope, Dante, Jasper, and Delphine downstairs

"What happened between you and Jasper last night?" Dante asked

"There's no need to ask such a lame question Why did your bodyguard hit my son?" Calliope yelled

"Your son tried to rape me"

"Liar My son is not a rapist You're lying!" she said.

"And if he's not a rapist then what is he? Or why would I beat him if he didn't rape someone?" Logan said entering the room

"This is not your first time Jasper, or your second Go back to the state right now I don't want you here anymore," Dante yelled

"But Dad I just got back yesterday I didn't do it," Jasper said.

"Dante, you should trust your son Why would he rape her? For what?"

"We all know what kind of person Jasper is" Delphine said and Calliope gave her a deathly look, and she turned back to her phone

"That's my order" Dante said and he walked into his room

"Mum, I don't want to go back"

"Would you shut up?" she yelled, turning to face me"This is just the beginning The line has been drawn" she said and then she walked into her room with Jasper following her

"Are you okay?" Aurora asked

"I will take you to your room" Logan said

I nodded"I'm fine I can handle it myself," I said and I walked into my room

The house was so boring I was tired of looking at my phone I wished I was back in school Alina wasn't around and Aurora was busy with something I didn't know what Logan was busy too I walked out of my room and into the living room where I started watching a movie Freya was there too, and she was also looking at her phone, paying no attention to me

Cora and Jasper came out of their room with their suitcases "Freya, won't you pack your bags and let's go?" Cora asked

"Go where? Oh, the state? I'm not going,"

"But Freya..." Jasper said

"Jasper, you're the criminal here What's my own following you both? Since your sister can leave you for a day then have a nice trip I'm not going"

"It's not your fault If not for Jasper I wouldn't have any intention of going back to the state" Cora said as she carried her suitcase and walked out of the room Jasper followed her behind.

"I'm free again! I have the whole house to myself!" Freya said She looked at me and smiled "I loved the way your bodyguard hit Jasper I don't know what Jasper's problem is He behaves like that all the time I hope he didn't touch you"

"No," I said

"You must be around the same age as me You look young Tell me how did you end up marrying my dad? I mean, he's old and ugly and you're a beautiful and young lady"

"It's a long story, and I don't want to share it,"

"Oh, right Are you going to school? I will join Lead High College tomorrow"

"That's my school too, but I won't be attending for a while," I said.

"On my dad's order it's better for you to beg him to let you go back to school else the house will be really boring for you alone in this big mansion And by the way call me Freya the sassy queen I hope we get along very well." She smiled at me.

"My name is Imogen"

"Nice name you got dear" she said, smiling at me

That night I couldn't sleep I kept thinking about what Freya had said "She's right I need to go back to school" I said as I got out of bed and opened the door Aurora entered, carrying a drink I stepped aside to let her in

"I was on my way to your room,"

"Why?" she asked, setting down the drink.

"I wanted to ask Dante if I could go back to school I'm tired of sitting at home alone."

"You can give it a try I brought this for you," she said handing me the drink I gulped it down in one go and I handed her back the cup Her hands were shaking as she took it back

"Are you okay?" I asked

"I'm sorry Imogen" she said and she ran out of my room

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach It was really painful My mother's words came back to me: "You can be killed easily."

I screamed but no one came to my help But why would Aurora poison me? I crawled to the door but it was locked. I couldn't move my legs or my hands. I couldn't even open my mouth. My face was blurry, and the pain was becoming unbearable. Blood was coming out of my mouth, and I felt my spirit leaving my body.

I trusted the wrong person 😢.
