I jolted awake my heart racing and my body drenched in sweat. I was in my room, sitting up in bed, with Alina sitting beside me. Her gaze sent a chill down my spine and I knew my mother's spirit had already taken control of her

"How did I end up here? I was sleeping on the couch."

Alina stood up her eyes fixed on me and replied, "You walked in by yourself" She then moved towards the window

"I had a dream where I saw blood everywhere, but the person's face was blurry," I said

"The person's face wasn't blurry, Imogen It's just that you can't remember it And I'm telling you, someone close to you is going to die soon."

"What are you talking about? That's ridiculous!"

"I warned you, Imogen. Any dream you have now is going to come true. And this one is no exception. Someone you care about is going to die very soon"

"Mom, please, I'm begging you don't let anyone die Please, do something" I pleaded clutching her hand

But she just shook her head "I can't do anything Imogen And I won't be able to visit you again for a while You're on your own now."

With that she left Alina's body, and Alina looked around, confused. "What am I doing in your room?" she asked holding her head

I was too stunned to speak "I'll just go get your things ready for school," she said gently, and walked out of the room

As soon as she was gone I burst into tears "Who's going to die?"

I knocked on Dante's door and he opened it with a smirk. "Well, well, well. Look who finally decided to grace me with their presence"

"I'm pregnant" I announced holding out the pregnancy test result.

Dante raised an eyebrow. "You expect me to believe that?" But as he took the test from me his expression transformed into a grotesque grin revealing his crooked and yellowing teeth. "You make me so happy my dear," he said and pecked me on the cheek, I forced a smile

"Now that I'm carrying your child I think I'm free to do as I please don't you agree?"

"Oh my dear you're free to do whatever you want"

"I'm going to school," I said and walked out of his room

"Hey" Freya called out approaching me "What's up?"

"Not much just heading to school" I replied, and we fell into step together walking towards the park

"So are you dating Atticus?"

I raised an eyebrow. "No, why would you ask that?"

"You two seem really close I mean you're always together Are you sure you're not dating?"

"No we're just best friends We've been close since childhood that's all"

"Oh, really? I had a crush on him! Can you keep me in the loop if anything changes?"

"Of course I've got your back!"

Freya's face lit up with a bright smile as she hugged me tightly "Thank you so much, Imogen! I love you, girl!"she said before rushing off to her car

I smiled and waved then got into my own car

As I got into the car I dropped a bombshell on Logan "I'm pregnant"

"Imogen..."

"Don't panic Logan Let's not discuss it right now Just drive please"

I rested my head back against the seat closing my eyes
