I awoke to the presence of the three maids, Rosey among them. "What the heck?" I protested.

"Sorry, but we've been instructed by Warren to bathe you, serve breakfast, and prepare you for the doctor," Rosey explained, gently guiding me towards the bathroom.

"Wait, I can bathe myself, dang it!" I insisted, finally managing to get them out of the bathroom so I could bathe in peace.

Emerging from the bathroom, I found my outfit laid out on the bed by one of the maids. "Rosey, I really want to preserve whatever dignity I have left, so please leave," I requested, and she promptly ushered the others out of the room while I dressed.

"Are you done?" Rosey inquired upon my completion.

"Sure," I replied curtly.

"Great, now for your hair and makeup," she announced, leading me into another room where Julian, Stefen, and Warren awaited. I noticed a different doctor this time, who smiled warmly at me.

"You must be Y/N," he greeted.

"Uh, yeah, I am," I confirmed, feeling a mix of apprehension and curiosity.

I sat down, tension coiling in my stomach as the doctor spoke. "Well, I have the long-awaited news," he began, producing a sheet of paper. I leaned forward, my mind racing with anticipation.

"There is a 60% match to Scarlet Palmer and Y/N L/N," he announced.

"What?" we all exclaimed in confusion.

"What does that mean?" Warren interjected anxiously.

"It means it's highly likely that she is not only related to her, but one of her grandparents was a sibling of Scarlet. Did your grandparents ever mention anything about a Scarlet?" the doctor directed the question towards me.

"What? No, they never even mentioned other family members," I responded, still reeling from the revelation.

"Well, it does seem highly likely otherwise. I think you should consider talking to them and seeing if you can get them to open up about it," the doctor suggested, while I sat in shock.

"Does that mean I can leave?" I queried, but no one seemed to hear me or care about my question.

"Well, Doctor, that seems to have cleared it up," Warren remarked, as Julian and Stefen engaged in conversation with the doctor.

"Well, it is a 60% match, and it does seem as if it's more on her grandmother's side," the doctor confirmed.

"Scarlet never said anything about her sister," Warren added, but I could feel anger bubbling up inside me.

"Can I leave now?" I demanded, raising my voice. "I mean, you have the test results you've been hounding me for, so can I leave now?"

"Well, now, Y/N, it seems you're speaking nonsense," Stefen remarked.

"Oh, for the love of God, shut up! I held up my end of the deal, now let me leave," I snapped.

"Fine, we will transfer the amount into your bank account—"

"It's not about the money. I want to leave," I interrupted, feeling extremely irritated.

"There's no need to leave," Leonard interjected.

"I have a life outside of this place," I insisted.

"We know," Warren acknowledged.

"No, you don't. You know what? Why do I even bother talking to you freaks?" I exclaimed, storming out.

"Y/N, get back here!" I heard someone call out from behind me.
