(Y/N's POV)

The weight of Rosey's sacrifice hung heavy in the air, a constant reminder of the price we had paid in our quest for the truth. As the hours ticked by, the silence within the mansion's walls became suffocating, each passing moment amplifying the dread that coiled in the pit of my stomach.

It was Julian who summoned me first, his expression a mask of cold fury as he beckoned me to the study. The brothers were already gathered, their faces etched with varying degrees of anger and disappointment.

"Do you have any idea what you've done?" Leonard hissed, his usual warmth replaced by a simmering rage. "The depths of betrayal you've stooped to?"

I opened my mouth to respond, but the words died on my lips as Stefan stepped forward, his icy glare piercing straight through me.

"Silence," he spat. "You've forfeited the right to speak, to offer excuses for your treachery."

Julian watched the exchange unfold, his lips curved into a cruel smile. "You see, my dear, we trusted you. We welcomed you into our family, our inner sanctum, and this is how you repay us?"

His words cut deep, each syllable a barbed reminder of the lies and deception that had brought us to this point.

But they're the ones who started this twisted game,

They're the ones who tore Victoria from her life, who trapped us all in this nightmare.

But I held my tongue, knowing that any attempt at justification would only fuel their rage.

"You've betrayed us in the worst possible way," Leonard continued, his voice trembling with barely contained fury. "You've conspired with outsiders, shared our secrets, our very lifeblood."

Stefan's eyes narrowed, and he took a menacing step forward. "And for what? Some misguided sense of loyalty to a girl you barely know? A foolish quest for 'justice'?"

He spat the last word as if it were a curse, his disdain palpable.

"You've made your choice," Julian interjected, his tone laced with finality. "And now, you must face the consequences."

A chill ran down my spine as the implications of his words sank in.

Consequences.

What horrors did they have in store for me, for daring to defy their twisted reign?

"You're confined to your quarters, effective immediately," Julian decreed. "No visitors, no privileges, nothinh. You'll remain there until we decide your ultimate fate."

Leonard's expression softened ever so slightly, a flicker of regret passing across his features. "It didn't have to be this way, my dear. We could have been a family, a united front against the world."

But his words rang hollow, a cruel mockery of the lies they had fed me from the very beginning.

As the brothers dismissed me, their fury still simmering beneath the surface, I retreated to my room, the weight of their condemnation pressing down upon me like a suffocating blanket.

Alone in the confines of my gilded cage, I felt the first tendrils of despair take root. Rosey, my ally, my friend, had sacrificed everything to protect me, and now I was cut off from her, left to wonder about her fate.

What have they done to her?

As the hours ticked by, the silence became deafening, punctuated only by the occasional footsteps of the guards stationed outside my door. I paced the room, my thoughts a whirlwind of regret and determination.
