The Aquadias Curse

Rui's face was pale and almost lifeless, he looked sick before but now getting just looked dead both figuratively and literally.

"Ra...*Cough*...na, why are you doing... This..." Rui's managed to say as he felt himself slipping away from his body.

"Because young Lord... I'm tired of waiting for your damn sickness to kill you so that I can take the throne of Aquadias and finally lift the curse of this forsaken land." Rana said while using a mysterious type of magic to drain the last little bit of life from Rui's body.

"Curse?" Rui asked with his last available breath.

"The curse of having too worship some God just to survive." Rana replied as he noticed Rui struggling to survive.

Rui's lips curling into a smile as a light enveloped his soul taking him to the land the people of this world call "The Sacred Garden" or just "Heaven".

His body laid dead on the floor and a loud rumble could be heard from all around them.

"I'm sorry young Lord Rui..." Rana said was he noticed water begin to pool at his feet.

The water was rising quickly and violently, the reverse Waterfalls that brought water to the city were now on overdrive and dumping thousands of times more water on top of the mountain.

The door to the bedroom began to rumble and shake, something water in, badly.

"Could it be that succubus girl again?" Rana asked himself as he held out his hand and began to recite a prayer.

"Oh glorious god that once blessed this land with his fertility and fortune, lend me your power and bless me as the next god of this sacred land." Rana spoke and Rui's dead body began to glow, the water that was filling on to room began to circle around him and lift him into the air.

A giant hand like shape formed out of water and began to reach down towards Rana.

"This... Is the birth of a new god..." Rana reached his hand up to touch the hand made of water.

He hand starts the glow as water flowed into his body turning him into the new reincarnation of Aquadias.

The door shook once, then twice, then one last time before into flung open revealing Ariya in her succubus with a look of blood lust on her face.

"Rana..." Ariya said as she stepped into the room.

She looked around at the water flowing towards Rana, her eyes slowly finding their way to Rui's dead body. He looked peaceful in his final slumber, almost like the burden of something was finally lifted off of him.

"You... Killed him..."Ariya said as she drew her old sword and held it like a traditional broad sword.

"He was dying anyways, he has been ever since I cursed him as a child." Rana  extended his hand and began making water condense into a small orb.

"You made him sick?" Ariya asked as the grip on her sword, her horns growing from anger.

"It's too complicated for a dumbass child like you..." Rana flicked the orb of water at Ariya at an extremely high speed.

"Demonic slash..." Ariya focused on her sword, her horns growing more as she got more aggravated from the battle.

The orb flew towards her picking up speed as it crosses the room.

"... Splitter!" Ariya yelled as she cut the orb in two pieces to stop them from hitting her, the pieces continue to fly through the air until it hit the wall behind her causing it to crumble revealing the outside.

Water was floating mid air outside and flowing towards Rana.

"Why do you care so much about someone who's dead?" Rana asked as his body started to change into dragon like creature made from water.

"Because he still has a legacy to fight for..." Ariya yelled as she held her sword in front of her with both hands.

"His legacy? What about your own legacy?" Rana asked as his hand created another orb.

"Liam will be the one to carry on my legacy if I die... That why it's my job to make sure the people of Aquadias don't forget about Rui." Ariya said as she closed her eyes and started to here people talking.

(Flashback)
"Rui please be back before dark."

(Different voice)
"Thank you Young Lord Rui."

(Older Women's voice)
"Your so strong for being sick, thank you so much."

(Voice similar to Azumi's)
"I'm sorry Rui... I know we are brother and sister but I don't think we should walk to same path, you can keep working at the temple but I want to join Ne-Ne and her guild."

(End of Flashback)

"Rui was an Innocent child that did his best even though he was sick..." Ariya said opening her eyes, a tear rolling down her check.

"He got in the way." Rana said as the orb increased in size.

"So you killed him?" Ariya asked as her horns reached there max size.

"His death was... Planned to say the least." Rana replied as he flicked the larger orb at Ariya.

"So is yours..." Ariya moved quick under the orbs and began to feel her sword getting heavier.

"What the hell-" Rana said as his eyes widened seeing Ariya's speed.

"This feeling... Must be the power Liam has been hiding..." Ariya thought as she began to unleash the power she had been slowly taking from Liam overtime they came into contact.

Rana floated backwards and put his hands together, he closed his eyes and pulled his hands apart which summoned a huge water orb.

"I'm sorry and feeding off your power Liam" Ariya said in her head and she got ready to attack Rana, her nearly pure demon form mixing with spirit energy from Liam.

"Ocean Explosion!" Rana yelled as he throws the huge ball of water at Ariya.

"Demonic slash, Sea Splitter." Ariya closed her eyes as Liam heavy magic surrounded her sword.

"Liam if I don't make it back please remember me..." Ariya said in her head as she ran towards Rana and slashed at him.

As she ran towards a large wave of water came from behind him and came crashing down towards her.

(Elsewhere)

"Have either of you seen Ariya? She never came back after the sparing match." Liam asked as he walked into a meeting like room where Ne-Ne and Azumi's were sitting.

"Last I saw her was  when she said she was going to take a walk."

(Rana and Ariya's fight)

Ariya's sword was stuck in the ground and she was slumped against a wall, her entire body bruised and bleeding.

"You children never know when to give up." Rana said as he charged up another attack.

"Blood magic, blood and body separating incision-" An older man said as his sword pierced through Ranas chest, blood slowly rolling down the sword and dripping onto the ground.

"You... Dare attack a god?" Rana turned his head and managed to see horns atop a young man's head before he dropped to the ground.

The man put his foot on Rana's back and pulled his sword out along  with rana's blood that was slowly being sucked into the sword the man held.

Ariya slowly looked up blood dripping for her mouth as she heard the sound of Rana hitting thee ground. Her eyes widening as she saw a familiar yet terrifying face full of bloodlust.

"I couldn't let him kill you Ariya That's my job..." The man said as he put his sword away and gently picked up Ariya.

"It been a while, Your Ma and Pa requested  for you to join them for one last meal." The man said while blood swirled around him and Ariya before they both disappeared into an explosion of blood.
