Friend Or Foe

"Sire, the king of wizards is here to see you." A tall vampire with long black hair reported.

The king turned to his second in command with a blank stare," Let him in." He ordered.

The vampire bowed before letting the wizard king in the office. The wizard king was a lean man who stood at 6'2 feet and was clad in a blue tux. His eyes were a light green colour and he had wavy brown hair. The man looked to be in his late 40s but was actually a few hundred years old. Seokjin wondered why he had come to his coven unannounced.

"Lord Coltonovosky, good to see you all fit and fine after so long. Last I saw you, you were still a toddler." The man let out a laugh at his own words.

Seokjin looked at his mate who was now standing by the window staring out at the view. He then turned his gaze to the wizard who happened to have his wife along. The woman had an uncanny resemblance to Scarlett, no doubt she was her mother. Seokjin sat back down on his chair and gestured the visitors to take their seats opposite him.

"King Walter, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"

The wizard smirked," Always straight to the point just like your father." Then he shifted his curious gaze to Cage who had his back on them," I'm assuming that is your lover? I can faintly smell you on him, although I strongly smell my daughter on you." The man stated cunningly.

Seokjin tensed at the mention of Scarlett's scent on him, he hated it and he knew that the longer it stayed on him, the more Cage became angry. He wondered what the damned wizard was trying to gain by stating that he can scent his daughter on him. " Your daughter doesn't seem to know any manners and throws herself to any man she comes across." Seokjin quickly dismissed the man's insinuation." As for him, he is not just my lover but he is my mate as well."

Walter smirk turned into a scowl quicker than it had appeared. Mrs Walter sneered," Your mate left you six years ago, the man you've been fucking all these years is not your mate and how dare you insult my daughter?!"

"Mrs Walter, who my mate is or what Ashton means to me is no one's business so I'd appreciate it if you stay out of it. Why are you both here?"

" We came to form an alliance. After the war six years ago, the rogues think it's alright to just do as they please. Besides, the hunters have been becoming a problem. We heard the Ghost King has been trying to keep them away from us. But how do we know he's not planning to destroy us all?" Arrogance filled the man's voice as he spoke.

The vampire king leaned back on his chair,"The Ghost King helped us win the war and he's been dealing with the Hunters. So far he's done nothing but help us, why would you think he's trying to rule us?"

Mrs Walter scoffed," Of course he wants to take over the supernatural realm otherwise why wouldn't he show himself to anyone? None of us have seen him nor do we know who he is. All we know is that he controls ghosts somehow."

"Just because someone doesn't want to reveal themselves, it doesn't make them a bad person, Mrs Walter. Some people just don't like to show off. Not everyone is like you..." The vampire king deadpanned.

" Excuse me!" The woman screamed," who do you think you are..."

" Flora, calm down. We're not here to fight. " King Walter chided his wife." Coltonovosky, we are here to propose a marriage between you and our daughter Scarlett. "

Seokjin's eyes flashed black as his fangs came out and he hissed. The wizard couple were frozen in fear." You have the nerve to come here and disrespect my mates. How the Fuck did you think it was ok for you to offer that slut of your daughter to me? A mated man with three kids?" He growled.

" You can just get rid of those mutts, three of them are not even your beloveds and the one who is left you so technically, you belong to no one. As for those brats, my daughter can just kill them and birth many more for you..." Before the woman could finish her words, her neck was snapped by a ghost.

The Wizard jumped to his feet and frantically looked around in terror." Who is it?! " He hollered." I dare you to show yourself, Ghost King, I know it's you!" The man shouted.

" It would be better if you take your filth and leave my Coven, Walter, otherwise I will send you back to where you came from in pieces." Seokjin said in a calm and calculated voice.

Fearing for his life, Walter took his wife and vanished from there. Seokjin looked at his mate, he had a suspicion that Cage might be the Ghost King from the moment the man had attacked him on the terrace. Now it was confirmed," Park Minho, make sure that they've left the territory."

"Yes,Sire." The man left the room. He had been standing by the door the whole time.

"Shall we go home for lunch?" Seokjin asked his mate nervously.

Cage didn't reply, he turned and left the room without a word or a glance. The king felt the fear of losing the man grip him but he calmed down. He'll win his mate over no matter the cost.
