Ghost King

Confrontation

After Gage stormed out of the room with his twin, Aiden followed them. The man knew something was wrong and he wanted to know what it was that angered his son's so much.

"Gage, Cage, you two are gonna tell me what the hell is going on between you and Coltonovosky!?" Aiden demanded.

Gage turned to his dad while Cage ignored him,"That man accused my brother of trying to kill Ashton and to make matters worse, he even raised his hand on Cage..."

"HE WHAT?!" Two furious growls cut Gage off. They turned to find Dragon and Deacon at the door looking ready to shift.

Aiden was enraged too but he rushed to calm his mates since the triplets were in the house and he didn't want to scare them." Calm down, you two. The triplets are in the house."

The older twins reined in their wolves," How can Colt do that? How dare he raise his hand on my son?"Dragon ranted.

"We'll have a talk with him. Meanwhile, you two are welcomed to stay for as long as you need." Deacon said before walking over to Cage and pulled him into a hug." Everything will be alright. We'll fix everything soon." With that they left the boys alone.

Cage went to take a shower, Gage sighed sadly. His twin hadn't said much since they left Korea. He barely slept nor did he eat much. Svetlana had tried to get him to eat but Cage could not. It hurt the two mates to see the man like that. It was clear that Seokjin's actions hurt him a lot more than he let on. Gage wanted nothing more than to kill the vampire but he knew it'd kill all of them if he did. Sighing heavily, he went to the kitchen to get them both some food. Svetlana had gone to visit her family for the day and would be back later.

It has been a hectic few weeks after the war, people were either rebuilding any damaged buildings or mourning. Those who were injured during the war were still healing. Gage and Cage helped where they could or were needed. They also have been exploring their powers, Cage has been silent all the time. His parents were worried that he was going to be mute. Gage did not know how to help his brother and it was taking a toll on everyone even Svetlana.

Cage on the other hand was in no mood to talk to anyone. He did not understand what he had done wrong for his mate to doubt him like that. Sure he and Gage were always so serious and cold but that did not mean they were killers. He loved Ashton like he loved his mate and Svetlana. The only person he loved more than these three was his twin. After everything that has happened, Seokjin just did not trust him so how can they live happily together if he did not trust him?

"Sire, we have news about the hunters." A rasp voice spoke to him. Cage turned only to find a transparent figure clad in black looking at him. It was a ghost, one of his many trusted ghosts at that.

That was another factor that people did not know about Cage. He could see ghost as well as talk to them. He could also summon them and destroy them if need be. In the realm of ghost he was considered a king. Gage knew this, he two could see as well as speak to the Ghosts but he does not have the ability to control them. Gage can control all sorts of animals, he can speak to them as well as understand them too.

Cage gave the ghost a nod for him to continue,"The war had caused harm to many and the hunters are using that to their advantage. They are attacking the smaller packs and covens as well as capturing some of the species." The ghost reported.

That was another problem they were dealing with. Hunters. Those damned humans thought they were better than the supernaturals and loved calling them monsters. They kill any supernatural they come across no matter how old and young they are. Cage took a pen and paper then wrote down his orders before handing it to the ghost. The ghost bowed before disappearing into thin air.

" You want your ghost to deal with the Hunters?" Gage asked as he entered the room. Cage gave him a single nod before turning to leave the room only to have Gage hold his hand." 我知道你受伤了，凯奇。我也是，斯维特兰娜也是，所以请不要把我们推开。(I know you're hurt, Cage. I am too and so is Svetlana so please don't push us away.)" The younger twin begged.

Cage felt a twinge of pain in his chest, he felt like a failure. He didn't realize that his actions have been hurting both Gage and Svetlana. He pulled the man into his arms and breathed in his scent. Gage felt a bit relieved to know that his twin will not be pushing him away again.

"Gage! Cage! Dad said dinner is ready!" Carla called out from downstairs.

Gage pulled back and shook his head at their little sister. "You could've just linked us, no need to shout." He linked her.

"What's the fun in that?" She shot back. Gage sighed before following his twin downstairs.
