Royale Palace

A gust of wind suddenly attacked the castle out of no where. People ran helter skelter as the wind knocked everything and everyone out of it's way. What was strange is that only the palace seem to be attacked by this weather. Any place out of the palace premises was fine. Trees were ripped off their roots, statues split in half and things were floating and crashing everywhere. Everyone cried in terror as they ran for shelter.

"Report!" A guard ran into the throne room.

Concubine Lee and her son looked at him confused. " What is it?!" Zhou Cheng hissed from the throne.

" Your Majesty, a wind storm is attacking the palace, people are dying!" The guard cried in despair.

"What nonsense are you spouting?" Concubine Lee scolded.

The guard got to his knees, " I'm not lying, if your don't believe me check your..."

Before he can complete his sentence, the doors to the throne room were thrown off their hinges and furniture was turned upside down. The gust of wind knocked everyone off their feet and cries of terror filled the room." What is going on?!" A Hunter yelled over the wind.

"Mother!" Zhou Yang screamed.

Everything was in turmoil, everyone began screaming and talking all at once. The Royal soldiers rushed in to see what was happening only to stand stunned at the entrance. The gust of wind was attacking everyone else but not them. Lao Fu who is also Lan Wei's second in command in the Army was shocked. But the man did not care about any of the people in the room. Ever since they arrested his best friend, Lan Wei and kidnapped the rest of the royal family, he had not cared what happened to them. Even though it was his duty to protect the members of the royal family.

"SILENCE." A cold voice cut through the chaos and the wind disappeared.

Everyone froze in shock when a fog appeared and a man stepped out of it clad in black and white robes. His black hair was short with a few strands falling over his face. Lao Fu was even more shocked when he recognized him as the man who had rescued them from the rebels. The same man who their General seem to be in love with.

'Could it be that he came here to rescue the General? ' Lao Fu thought. ' He just appeared out of nowhere and the wind stopped, it obeyed him? What kind of sorcery is this? ' The man was baffled.

"Who are you?!" Concubine Lee demanded while her daughter was too busy eyeing the stranger lustfully.

" Mother, don't be so harsh." The brat whined and Lao Fu cringed. Zhou Yang sauntered over to the man swaying her hips in the process. " Gongzi (sir), what brings you to our palace?" She asked sweetly.

The man stared at her blankly, " I have some unfinished business with Concubine Lee and anyone else loyal to her."

"What could you want from my mother?!" Zhou Cheng demanded, " I am the new emperor which makes my mother the Empress Dowager. How dare you disrespect us by not bowing?!"

"I don't bow to anyone let alone a brat who thinks he rules the world." The man replied calmly.

" You! Who do you think you are?!" Concubine Lee shrieked.

The man's eyes turned gold, " Cage Hermes Knight, Crown Prince of the Werewolf and merfolk kingdom. I am also the King of the Ghost realm." Everyone in the room either gaped in shock or paled.

Zhou Yang's lust for the man grew tenfold when she heard of how powerful he is. If she can get him to sleep with her then she can force him to marry her. She'll be more powerful than she is now...

" You seem to daydream a lot, don't you?" The man asked Zhou Yang calmly.

Zhou Yang flattered her eyelashes, "What do you mean?" She moved to hold his arm but Cage disappeared right in front of her. " What the?!"

"Zhou Yang, you really have a habit of touching things that don't belong to you." Cage's voice was heard before he appeared behind her. "I don't like anyone but family and friends touching me."

As he was talking, the hunters sneaked up on him. Just when one was about to inject him with some serum, one of Cage's Ghosts grabbed his neck and snapped it. The other ghosts killed the rest of the hunters making concubine Lee scream in horror.

" You bastard! I'll kill you..." Zhou Cheng hissed.

Cage turned to him nonchalantly. " Kill me? I'd like to see you try."

The latter fumed and lunged for Cage with his sword but the shifter used his speed and moved out of the way. He then grabbed the brat by his hair and tossed him across the room. They all heard various cracks the moment the man hit the wall. Zhou Cheng's bones were broken.

"A'Cheng!"

"Gege!"

Mother and daughter cried as they rushed to the barely alive snob. Cage  watched silently as they tried to wake him but the man died in their arms. Concubine Lee lost it, she screamed like a banshee and lunged for Cage with a sword in hand. Cage watched her with a bored expression, as soon as she was close enough to stab him, Cage struck her with lightning. Concubine Lee felt her body spasm, it was as if she was being slaughtered alive. She screamed, cried, begged to die but Cage made sure she did not die.

"Ma!!!" Zhou Yang cried, "W-what do you want from us?!" She glared at Cage.

Cage's gold eyes pierced into her soul, ,"Suffer the same pain she suffered for all these years. I want you and everyone who had ever harmed my mates to die a trillion times for what you did to them."

" Mates?"

" Yes, Zhou Yang. My mates. One of which you've tortured all her life and the other was tormented just as much. Concubine Lee, I will rip your soul to pieces slowly and heal you so I can do it all over again. " He said as he watched the woman struggle under the lightning.

Cage turned to Zhou Yang," As for you, I'll rip that tongue out of your mouth and let my Ghosts tear you apart. "

The young girl cried and begged but Cage still pulled her tongue out of her mouth." Zhanli had begged you two to stop too. Lan Wei had pleaded for you to stop hurting his sister, did you listen to them? No. So I have no intention of sparing either of you. " With that he made them feel every ounce of pain Zhanli and Lan Wei went through.

" Take them to the ghost realm and make sure they are locked in the torture chamber."

The Ghosts bowed to him," Yes Sire." With that they were all gone.

Cage turned to the royal soldiers, "General Zhou will need you soon. The war has begun so be ready any time." With that, he disappeared.
