In almost every movie or tv shows, I have seen has always show that the guy is the one who pulls out the romantic card. You know, the candle lit dinners, petals on your bed or in the hallway to the bedroom, gifting flowers or boo baskets if you know you know. And of course walks on the beach but you never really see a woman do it.
Is it because they don't believe that a woman can be just as romantic as them or just plain old let copy everyone else as they get the best results.
Tonight isn't going to be one of those night. Tonight is mine, it's my time to shine.
Time for me to be the romantic one, for tonight.
I recheck myself in the mirror for the fifth time since I was fully ready to leave.
Why the hell am I so nervous for?
I straighten out my jacket and take a deep breath as I look into the mirror.
"Everything is fine, Bucky. Stop being so nervous, it just y/n the woman you are deeply in love with, who has invited you to our spot in the most secretive way." I half smile. "Whatever she got planned, I'm sure it be amazing."
I walk away from the mirror and out my bedroom door, closing it behind me. I make my way to the elevator.
White wolf has entered the elevator
-Clint (from the vents)
"Okay." I place my phone back into my bag and place it away from the romantic area as I swing my arms by my side as I replace myself next to the table. I take a look around to see if that everything is hopefully perfect. I check on the lights to make sure they are straighten, the table cloth isn't creased and double checking the glasses and cutery are clean. "Everything is good... We are good. We are great to go." I nod my head.
After a few more little checks, I stand back to my original spot, tapping my finger against my leg as I wait.
"Okay everything is fine but... myself." I roll my eyes as I sniff my armpits, smell good. I place a hand over my mouth to check my breath, minty fresh. I repull out my phone to check on my make up and any bats in the cave. No streaks or mascara falling down my face and the bats has been exterminated.
Stop being nervous, it going to work out just fine.
I check on breath against my hand and my teeth through the reflection of my metal arm.
"Stop it, Bucky. You already checked on everything for the fiftieth billion time. You look great and I'm sure y/n will think that too." I smile as I say her name. Even though I saw her this morning, I can't help but to miss her like crazy. I can't wait to hold her in my arms again.
The elevator dings as the door slides open, I look out to notice the entire place is dark and only a lit path by candles led the way to the roof. So I gradually follow the path, all the way up the stairs....
"Wow..." I chuckle as I take in the entire sight of the rooftop.
Lights hanging above me as if they hanging on a gazebo forming from the corners of the roof to the middle and just below stands my beautiful, gorgeous y/n with her hands in front of her.
"What is all this?" I ask taking another amazied look as I step toward her.
"You like it?" She smiles.
"It's wonderful just like you."
"Me?" She softly chuckle.
"Doll, you look... Delicious." I bend my head slightly down and kiss her.
