"Are you ready for the press conference?" Ella asked

"I guess,"

I've got to admit since the pool a few days ago things have been changingbetween Ella and I. I willingly hug her now. She definitely growing on me and I may even say she's becoming one of my friends. She gone from someone I hate to someone I like seeing smiling and laughing and being happy.

"Madison can you hurry up. We have to be there in 10 minutes." Ella moaned.

"Sorry," I said, quickly putting on my shoes. Standing up straight I straighten my top and we leave the room.

"You abs always shock me," She said smiling her cute smile and stopping still.

"Are you coming or not?"

"Sorry,"

"Why are you acting so weird?"

"Mhm," She mumbled.

"Are you alright?"

"Yep. Fine thanks,"

"Alright," I replied in a questioning tone deciding to just leave it. Something was defiantly wrong though, she seemed spaced out.

Walking into the conference we took pictures with fans and signed some things before security escorted us all into the conference room. We were having a whole team conference day in pairs. I was in a pair with no other than Ella. Tomorrow we were going to have a whole day of media which is going to be so long.

"Hey girls," The interviewer started. "How are you guys?"

"I'm okay thanks. How are you?" I replied.

"I'm doing well thanks,"

"My first question is for you Ella." He said and I just zoned out until my name was said.

"Madison, with this being your first camp on the senior team, what do you think you're goals for these upcoming games?" He asked me.

"Well, I hope to get a few minutes hopefully and getting a goal or two. I want to gain some experience and make stronger bonds with the girls. I want to work hard and take any moments that I'm given." I replied.

"Madison, what was you most worried about coming to camp?"

"I was nervous about being the newest player of the team and making friends while they all already had friend groups. But I've realised how kind and accepting all of the girls are. And have really enjoyed not just the training but also the fun we get up to as a team. I'm so thankful how welcoming everyone was,"

He then started asked Ella a few questions before zoning back on me.

"Madison, you knew Ella growing up and played together growing up. How does that feel?" He asked.

"Um," I started while glancing at Ella not wanting to say what I actually felt growing up. " It feels good playing and training  with her again. We were very competitive growing up on the pitch."

"Yeah, Madison was a really hard working growing up so she encouraged me to keep trying harder to keep up with her." Ella said giggling a little and smiling at me."

After that question the interview finished and we went back to chilling with some of the other girls.
