Ella's POV
"Hurry up Madison! We're gonna miss the sunset!" I yelled into our room.
"I'm coming!" She yelled coming out.
"We gotta go faster,"
"Okay. We're football players. We can run,"
"We don't wanna draw attention to ourselves, do we?"
"I guess not,"
"That's what I thought,"
Once we were on the beach, we made it in time to see the sunset and it was the most beautiful thing ever.
"This has been on my bucket list since forever," Madison said with a huge smile on her face. "Excise me? Miss? Can you take a picture of me and my friend?" She asked a woman walking by.
"Sure," She said taking the phone and taking loads of photos of us.
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome,"
"Enjoy your night,"
"You too,"
Madison opened her phone and looked at the pictures. "These are so cute,"
"Let me see,"
She was right. She posted a few on her Instagram with the caption.
"So I checked something off my bucket list, which was seeing a sunset on the beach. Now what? Also thanks to the random women on the beach for taking these photos. You're pretty cool."
My heart skipped a few beats when I looked up from my phone and saw Madison just standing there, facing the ocean, the sunset making it the most perfect view ever. I quickly took a picture to remember this perfect moment, I also put it on my Instagram story with the song Yellow by Coldplay.

Madison's POV
"Ella, answer your phone before I throw it out of the window!" I say having been woken up.
"Alright, alright. This better be important. It's 1 o'clock in the morning," She said with a yawn.
"Who is it?" I asked but she shushed me.
"I don't know. I'm in California...yes California! It's literally 1 am. No, I can't travel back. I am in California!" She said agitatedly.
I assumed it was her parents.
"I don't really know when I'm coming back. I was going to make it for the game on Friday.... yes and for training of course. Just I wasn't coming back tomorrow. I have plans! I'm in California!"
Now I realized it was her coach.
"Alright. I'll be at training on Tuesday. Oh, you're booking my flight for Monday morning? Why not the afternoon? Are you serious about no flights? Fine. I will see you Monday morning then," She hung up and threw her phone down.
"Everything okay?" I asked.
"They want me back on Monday."
"That's okay. We still have plenty of time. 2 days is fine," I say. "And when you go back, I'll go back,"
"Let's just not think about Monday and just make the most of the next couple of days," She asked sadly.
"I agree," I say cuddling into her and going back to sleep.

"Did you get the bags packed?" I asked Ella over the phone.
"Bags packed and ready to go. I'm waiting out front," She said.
"Sounds good. I'll be there in less than 5,"
I had rented a car so we could drive to the next destination of the trip. I left Ella to pack all our bags and make sure we left nothing to save us some time because it was about an hour away and the clock on our 2 days was ticking.
Ella looked in awe as we drove under the giant 'Welcome to Disneyland' sign.
"You're literally a child," I laughed.
"Hey, I haven't been in years. I can't wait!!" She said practically jumping in her seat.
"I went a little under a year ago,"
"So can we go right to the park and skip the hotel?" she asked.
"Sure,"
I found a place to park and we got out. We had to stop at customer service on the way so we could get into everything.
By the time we had done everything and got into the park, she was jumping around with a huge smile on her face. When we walked in, Ella screamed and so I had to cover her mouth and remind her.
"No drawing attention to ourselves, right?"
"I know. I am just so excited! What to first? I want to go on a big ride first. I want to go on Pirates of the Caribbean,"
"Alright. Get a map and let's find it,"
We waited in line for 10 minutes and when we got on Ella screamed the entire time. It was hilarious.
"Let's go on that one," She said pointing at Space Mountain.
"Alright. That was my favourite when I came last time,"
We waited in line for 20 minutes this time. But when we got to the front of the line Ella was getting nervous.
"Is it scary?" She asked.
"Yeah. But it will be fun. Have you never been on here?" I asked.
"Nope,"
"Well, it isn't that scary. It's over faster than it feels. Now get it," I told her.
She grabbed onto my arm for the whole of it.
When we looked at the picture that was taken, Ella's face was completely terrified, it was the funniest thing ever. I laughed for a solid few minutes while getting the picture printed. My face was just me smiling with my hands in the air.
I poked fun at Ella for the rest of the time. I also texted Georgia and Alessia and sent them the picture.
Alessia laughed almost as much as I did while Georgia was mad because we went to California without her.
