England vs USA

Commentator's POV

"We have Lewis running down the field, she finds Kirby, who has found White. White takes a touch and ... she's been taken out,"

"Ellen White is down, and a yellow has been awarded to the American defender O'Hara. She's holding her right foot, that didn't look good."

"A penalty kick has been awarded after that horrible slide tackle."

"Medical staff on the field," Gabby says as a bunch of medics run onto the pitch.

"Possession of this match has been quite equal so far. England need to get the ball past the midfield. Sarina is currently talking on the sidelines to Stanway and Lewis."

"Stanway has been amazing this game. She's everywhere." 

"Daly is warming up as White is walked off the pitch."

Daly is subbed in and Keira Walsh get's ready to take the pen.

"Keira Walsh on the penalty ... and it's in! England 1, USA 0!"

31st Minutes 

"Ashley Hatch is through on goal! England 1 USA 1"

"And there's that leadership from Lewis again. All the way back to comfort her defenders. This is the first time the camera's have zoomed in on her this match ... man look at that eye and her arms. It really takes a tough player to come play in a big game like this after everything that has happened to her recently. A lot of respect to her for that."

"Great player, even better player. Madison Lewis has certainly earned her spot on this squad."

"Agreed,"

33rd Minutes

"Here we go. Daly back to Stanway. Stanway to Lewis, OHHHH She's gone and done it again!"

Madison's POV

I wasn't about to let USA think they were gonna get a comeback in this game.

Stanway played an amazing ball through to me. 

England 2, USA 1

I ran to Georgia and just squeezed her. The cheering from the crowd was deafening. After the hug I made a heart with my hands and then Ella came from behind me and hugged me, which quickly turned into a big group hug.

"Goal! Number 21, Madison Lewis! 33rd minute. Assisted by Georgia Stanway!" The stadium announcer announced.

I pressured high straight away after the game restarted. I beat a girl to a loose pass from her teammate but my foot also tripped her.

"What the hell!" She yelled as the ref blew for a foul.

"Sorry," I said, offering her a hand up but she didn't take it instead she slapped my hand away and got up by herself.

I walked away but she followed me. I turned back around after reaching where I wanted to stand for there free kick. As I turned around I came face to face with the girl and she pushed me backwards a bit.

"Why the hell did you do that? Why did you trip me? What's wrong with you?" 

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to," I said and Lucy, Ella and the ref came over as the girl continued to shove me.

"Leave her alone. Go get in the play and leave our player alone," Lucy said as Ella pulled me away by my arm.

The girl continued to yelled and swearing so the ref took out a red.

"She just playing the f***ing victim again like she did when she lost the fight," said the girl.

Lucy whipped her head round towards the girl real quick.

"HEY! SH-" Ella started yelling but I put my hand over her mouth not wanting to escilate the situation.

"Lucy. Lucy. Luce. Leave it," Keira said.

"Lucy stop. Don't say anything to her." I said.

She took a deep breath and walked away. The ref was still talking to the girl who was still yelling.

"Well this is gonna be interesting highlights," I said as the girl left the field.

"No one insults you like that," Ella muttered.

"Don't even think about doing anything stupid and get into position," I said to her under my breath.

The girl took the free kick and kicked it into a group of people. Millie Bright won the header and headed it out to Kirby who dribbled into more space before playing it through to Ella who ran onto it and finished it nicely.

"DAMN TOONE!" I yelled running to give her a hug.

"I told you no one insults you. So I got payback." Ella said.

"GOAL ENGLAND! number 8 Ella Toone! 40th minute. Assisted by Fran Kirby!"
